I was trying to obtain service history for my car as the book was lost, I had no success with Mercedes Glasgow, however after speaking to Tom McCreath at Mercedes Ayr he efficiently provided me with this request, I found the high level of service at this branch extremely refreshing. Keep the good work up, I will be buying my next car here.

In my opinion, one of the worst car buying experiences I?ve ever had.
I travelled all the way from Birmingham to buy a BMW from this showroom back in January. Despite them knowing I was coming from far, the car was not ready when I arrived, and I ended up wasting the entire day. I even had to stay overnight in a hotel?completely unnecessary had they properly prepared the vehicle in advance as promised.
The payment process was another disaster. Even though the money left my bank account instantly, it took them the entire day to ?confirm? it on their end. The whole experience felt disorganised and very unprofessional.
After all this inconvenience, I was promised compensation. However, once I got back to Birmingham, I had to chase them repeatedly and still did not receive the full compensation I was told I would get.
I spoke to someone, who was introduced as the manager. I left numerous messages, but she never called me back, despite being told repeatedly that she would.
To make things worse, the car later broke down. When I took it to BMW, they inspected it and gave me written feedback stating they believe the car may have a mileage blocker. I reported this to the showroom, but they have shown zero urgency or interest in resolving it and have ignored my attempts to get in touch.
In my opinion, this is not how a dealership should be operating. I would strongly recommend avoiding this showroom altogether

Myself and my partner Ranald Foot took our GLE53 to Mercedes Benz Ayr today for a service. They did an excellent job and the car runs much better now. We got a courtesy car to use. We also asked if the car could be cleaned as we are on holiday. They cleaned it inside and out and it looks superb. Tom phoned to let us know it was ready. Altogether a very efficient, friendly service from Tom and his team. To all, a big thank you very much.

Brought my AMG A45 here recently for a major service, which I booked with the very easy to use website. The staff here were very professional and did a great job of making me feel like a valued customer.
I was also having problems with my Mercedes Me app and the service manager helped me sort it.
I would recommend this place for any Mercedes/AMG maintenance, it will be my branch going forward.

Terrible terrible aggressive and ignorant staff. I am selling my Mercedes and buying a Maserati. Terrible service from all of Mercedes Benz. Their internal audit system is weighted in their favor. Horrible people

Oh my goodness I hate to leave a bad review.....this is my first ever one!
Got my car in for a recall for a system update (they phoned as I was due an MOT then said about the recall). Took my car the night before (convertible) had the roof down and put it up when I arrived. Got a phonecall to say the mechanics started early on my car and noticed the steering was off and it was pulling to the left...never mentioned anything else. Next day picked up the car and put the roof down but it started to rain so I put the roof back up and my left hand side windows wouldn't shut properly. Went back in and after the young man tried it out for himself he got a mechanic out to have a look and he advised the window looked (back small window) as if it had slipped down. They went in to talk to the manager and came back out to say that it was a coincidence this has happened and it was nothing to do with them or the update. He then wanted to charge me £180 to run a 'maintenance/diagnostics test'.
After arguing for half an hour and being called a 'liar' in so many words as he said he doesn't know if I had the roof down and put it back up the day before. I advised I had 180 odd miles left in my tank (diesel, 60mpg approx) and when I drove off if had 69 miles left. I said to him I didn't know if they had the roof down and neither does he as it wasn't him who 'test drove' it. He said having the roof down isn't policy for their mechanics but I explained that I didn't know that and when I dropped the car off the windows were up and working fine. I regularly maintain the seals and roof mechanisms so I know it wasn't like this. The 'boy' was rather abrupt by saying he was stating 'facts' and didn't take responsibility whatsoever. I said I would be taking pictures of MY car and he said 'take pictures if u want' then walked off.
I sorted the windows myself by 'surprise suprise' resetting them after this software update that apparently had nothing to do with the windows/roof....this is one hell of a coincidence. I feel when they quoted me £1060 for 2 ball joints (local garage said ridiculous, parts on europarts £90 max for each one and i appreciate that a lot of work goes into the fitting) and I said I couldn't afford this and didn't take them up on the payment plan that they weren't interested anymore.
Only good point is the woman at the front desk (think her name was Barbara) was absolutely lovely and couldn't fault her to be honest.
Give this place a wide berth as there are garages that will quote you at least half the price and still fit original Merc parts.
