“A cashier called Ollie who was working around 8pm last night (28/1) was an absolute angel.I needed to buy a charger but my phone was dead and I needed it to pay, so he helped me. I immediately burst into tears as I had spent all day at A&E with my father-in-law and felt so helpless when my phone died as I'm from Glasgow and don't know the area well and was so grateful.He was so kind and compassionate, gave me some tissues and a seat while I waited and made sure I was okay.Honestly cannot thank him enough for his compassion and kindness on what was a very long and upsetting day.”
“Tidy shop, good selection and cashier was friendly. Having staff being friendly and helpful is missing in other stores like Tesco. I avoid the majority of the staff in this place and use the self service so it was nice to go into a shop where the staff were nice”

“Post office and local shop with cash machine (inside). Apart from the obvious Post officy duties of Stamps, posting and receiving mail. They also have boxes and envelopes. There is a black and white and colour photocopier. The shop sells everyday items like, Fresh milk 🥛 , Bread, Rolls, Fresh Vegetables, chocolates, sweets, Newspapers, Cigarettes and Alcohol. They staff are lovely. Very kind, very friendly and know the local area if you are looking for advice. There is also a café and a pharmacy nearby too, if you need. So if you're posting a stressful letter and in need of 2 paracetamol then a coffee? This is the best area to go.”
“Friendly helpful staff always smiling! Good selection, including costa coffee machine. Sandwiches and salad bowls in the meal deal are excellent and fresh (deli selection). Store is always well stocked, clean and tidy.”

“My local shop for some 40 years, just minutes from my house and keeping handily long opening hours. Still delivers my Sunday Paper and I can count on one hand the number of times the several generations of paper boys or girls have made a genuine mistake!”
“My favourite order from Forehill is the Angel Haddock Fish Supper! It’s a little dearer than the basic equivalent but not by much and without doubt worth the difference. The wait is never too long and I find the staff efficient and courteous. Well done!”

“What fabulous staff at this store. My husband and I were lost in horrendous weather last night (21/09/23) in the dark. We were trying to get from Cairnryan ferry to home and because of road closures we ended up in Drongen. They let me use the toilet and directed me to the A77. Thank you girls for being so understanding. I'm 76 and my husband is 81!”
“Staff members are always friendly and helpful. Store is slightly larger than a convenience store and some products, including "family" packs are very limited. Parking is straightforward though sometimes busy depending on the time of day. Please be aware there is no petrol station here as shown in some car sat navs!”

“Great freshly made to order fish and chips Used the chippy twice whilst staying near by £18 for two fish suppers You had a choice one or two bits of fish We went for two but with the chips it was two much I’d recommend one fish supper and the singe fish (two bits of fish ) this is more than enough for a hungry couple Definitely return if we were back down this way again”

“I have to say I've always really liked this wee shop, but tonight I have to upgrade the like to love lol. I had ran out of something I felt was"essential" lol. I called them at 20.05 to ask them when they closed. And the man said 8pm, but he'll hang about and wait for me!! I was 10 mins away. That was so kind of him and I'm very thankful!!! He knew who I was just through my day to day purchases, and had what I needed waiting on my arrival! Best wee shop about! Thank you, Kim xx”

“I don't know who wrote the last review obviously someone from the KA7region of Ayr the previous owner was called NADA he was an asset to the community he ran the shop for 37yrs he knew all the grandparents mums & dads children and grandchildren in the area he was an asset to the community and so are the new owners and the manager audrey is great with all the customers.”
