We don't often do reviews of companies but on this occasion we felt Barrmuir staff deserved to be recognised for making our experience of having work done in our hallway, kitchen, dining room and utility room such a positive one.Thank you to Russell for creating a kitchen design that brought to life our lengthy wishlist and for going the extra mile to resource materials that gave the perfect finishing touches.Thank you to Steven (joiner), Scott (plumber) and Dean (decorator) for putting together the kitchen we had hoped for. Your attention to detail and high standard of work were greatly appreciated. You were a pleasure to have in the house.Thank you also to Frasier whose work in the background enabled the renovations to go forward and for bringing in Elliot Preservations (Troon) which allowed us to complete solum replacement as part of the overall renovations to our house.We would have no hesitation in recommending Barrmuir to others based on our experience.

Delighted with our 5 star new kitchen. Russell Wyper our designer and project manager was fantastic. Taking on board all our wishes and sharing tips and ideas and ensuring we were well communicated with along the way. Seeking our approval on everything and ironing out the expected small problems along the way for such a transformation. Thanks Russell and all the tradesmen.

Our thanks to John Craig who helped us out a difficult situation. Josh and Scott and the tiler (sorry didn?t know his name), delivered a fantastic job for us and we are delighted with it. Very clean and tidy. John provided a work plan and it was kept too. Josh and Scott were always on time and the attached photo will show their work. New silver tiled wall, new shower fitting and new cubicle fitted. Where other companies didn?t want to touch the job as the original was a concealed valve shower, which had become faulty, Barrmuir gave us an excellent alternative of a new wall and new external shower fitting. Thank you all!!!

We contacted Barrmuir for our extensive kitchen remodel. Richard came out and and listened to our needs and ultimately came up with exactly what we wanted and at a really competitive price. The job started promptly and was completed within timescales quoted. A massive credit to Stevie, Scott and others from the team completing the work. They were on time every morning, took great care over the details and generally really decent guys to have in our house.We are delighted with the finished result and I can thouroughly recommend the company to anyone.Services: Remodeling

I recently had been subject to poor quality work from an insurance companies appointed contractor and was at the end of my tether. So I contacted Barrmuir for help in taking over and completing my bathroom. The difference is night and day, from first discussions to my bathroom completion Barrmuir were the answers to my prayers.My bathroom is stunning , sleek, modern with excellent fixtures and fittings the team are a credit to the company . My husband and I cannot wait to go back home this has been a long 5 months for us. However from our initial meeting with Barrmuir some 2 weeks ago we are in the position of getting back to our home.They have an amazing team and a very dynamic management however most of all they treat customers with care and respect.Thank you all Mr and Mrs Hudspith

I left a review of this appalling company last year. I would like to add that one of the shoddy pieces of workmanship was the floor tiling. I voiced my concerns about the flooring to the Kitchen Fitter, the Contract Manager, the Designer and the Manager of the company. I was told by the Manager I was "exaggerating" things. Well this is a year on and the section of the kitchen flooring I voiced my concern about is now needing repairing. £15,000 I paid and the floor hasn't even lasted a year. Disgraceful company.I have now just read the Barrmuir response to my review and I'm totally shocked at the untruthfulness. I received a dreadful standard of workmanship from the company and I was obviously expected just to pay up and accept a poor product. They took months remedying things, mainly the painting which had to be done 3 times before it was acceptable. When the work was done and before I paid the last installment I sent a registered letter to the manager detailing all the dreadful things that had happened during the installation. His response was to tell me I was exaggerating, that I obviously didn't want to pay and threatening me with a solicitor. I rang trading standards and they thought the companies attitude was really poor and said that they would talk to the company. I don't know if they did or not. I paid the outstanding amount due immediately i got the manager's response to my letter because I wanted nothing more to do with the company. However seeing the floor - which was laid by an apprentice with no supervision - now needing repairing after I raised the issue with 4 people in the company at the time annoyed me so much I added this additional review.It is poor when in good faith I gave an honest review on Google to be helpful to other potential customers the company is allowed to respond by bad mouthing me and tell a fabricate account of what happened. They can't even get my name right and that sums the company up.

Special thanks to Fraser for taking the time with us to ensure we got the very high quality kitchen we desired and Michelle, the kitchen designer, who spent many hours talking through our requests to ensure we were happy.
