Purchased a single blank plate for a socket, 74p. The screws supplied 35mm long could not reach the box. Went back to purchase 50mm screws, a pack of 4 cost £4.71.!! An absolute rip-off.

A good visit to a good clean store. Couldn't find any employees for help in the tool section... plenty standing around in the front talking though. Other than that it was good just unable to buy everything I needed due to no one around for help.

Visited the Ayr store today to have some timber cut for shelves. We were helped by Pamela. We originally wanted plain MDF which we were going to paint, but she suggested laminate chip board to save us from painting. She was so friendly and professional and nothing was any bother to her, even though we came in with measurements in inches?. Pamela is a credit to your store, in fact all the staff are.

24/11 had a small complaint about a member of staff attitude,spoke to manager who denied the staff members behaviour (even though the manger didn?t see her attitude and behaviour towards us and other customers)Walked out shop no purchases made .!

I ordered two items on a click and collect order on the 12th of June 2024. I paid online, but upon arriving at the store around 7.15 pm one of the items were unavailable after B&Q had confirmed the item was in stock when I placed my order. However, I was refunded speedily for that one item.
I would like to offer my sincere apologies to the staff member who served me for taking my frustration out on her, though I did clearly say I was annoyed at B&Q not the customer service assistant. She did well to make things right. Thank you.
I hope she can accept my apology.

I arrived today to ask a question, which was a little cheeky, and i was met by David, (of the beautiful long locks) . David said he was sure he could help, but checked with Kayleigh the garden manager, who was also a lovely person, and she agreed with David's solution.
No problem at all. They resolved my quandry, and when I returned to the checkout, Margaret was also aware of my saga, and processed the transaction with absolutely no fuss.
What an absolute pleasure to be dealt with considerately and thoughtfully. Some places are too easy to chase you away once you have made your purchase, not B&Q Ayr.

Mrs macdonald here, I ordered a bathroom suite to be fitted, items got delivered, got let down twice, cancelled altogether, now still sitting to be picked up and going on 3rd week.
