A wonderful combination of Ukrainian and Scottish cuisine. Cake + coffee is an ideal combination.

This charming new cafe in Ayr is a true gem. The Varenyky (Ukrainian dumplings) and Borscht (traditional Ukrainian soup) were exceptional?packed with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The cozy ambiance and friendly atmosphere make it one of the best spots in Ayr for a delicious meal. If you?re looking for the best homemade Ukrainian cuisine, this cafe is a must-visit!

There is never a time I come in and don?t have to clear my own table! The tables are left for hours at a time filled with cups, glasses plates etc I watched numerous members of staff come up with plates of food and after giving it to the tables walk right past empty handed by these tables!!! It?s a joke of a place the staff are extremely lazy Cleary! Shame as the food is half decent the prices have gone up but still got value, but when your surrounded by mess and lazy staff it?s extremely disappointing and off putting I feel like taking the plates down myself and I?m a customer!

Went to Weatherspoons 'Auld Brig' at Irvine yesterday 9/8/2022. I ordered a small fish & chips, my Mrs ordered a small Scampi and our son ordered the sausage chips and beans. My Mrs and my son quite enjoyed theirs even though her Scampi was a bit overdone. Now my fish from my small Fish & Chips was so well done the batter looked as if it had been out in the sun for about a month(Burnt to a crisp). Now I quite like a little crispy batter but not burned and so tough it could go a couple of rounds with Mohammed Ali. The fish itself was absolutely disgusting so much so I reckon it must have been hanging-out bottom feeding at a sewer eating all the effluent produced there. To be fair I thought it was just me, so I asked my wife to taste my fish also. After tasting it she was also abhorred so much so her face was so screwed up I thought she was eating a Sour-Plum. At this point I would say the Tea & Coffee was alright. After we had finished the boy picking up the Plates and my disgusting fish asked us if everything was okay. I did tell him My fish was disgusting and unedible. "What do you think happened next?" You got it he totally blanked us lifted plates and scurried off. (So much for customer service) I'm beginning to think this is a Weatherspoons ploy as the same thing happened to my Mrs when she complained about cold chips in the Weatherspoons in Stirling. I guess this is how they avoid complaints. "ill I be back in any of these establishments soon? I think you know the answer to this one" Because they are avoiding complaints I took to trust pilot to write a review as it seems the only recourse I have,

Met one of my friends here for a quick lunch, used the app and the drinks arrived very prompt along with the food several minutes later. Tasted great and excellent value. Staff all friendly and cleanliness standards were excellent. The manager was also a great help at the front entrance assisting me with the app. Will be back definetly.

Been in a few times over the weekend, had fish and chips on Friday 2 b honest I have had better in a spoons. Had breakfast Saturday and Monday morning again it was okish a little disappointed there was no eggs benedict, toilets where clean and I feld safe at all times.\nWas also disappointed a member of staff on Monday morning didn't have a mask on, surely this would cause problems for others guests not wanting 2 put a mask on, a quick solution would be a badge saying why she can't wear a mask\nWasn't the best spoons I be in or wasn't the worst either\n\n

Post Covid-19 as a healthcare worker I can accept things have changed. Checking in at the door and waiting for a table was fine. Track and Trace form easy to complete. Staff at front door had surgical mask on upside down! ?\n\nI was with my parents who are both pensioners, so ordering through an app meant that they were relying on me to make sure they got what they wanted. Food and first round of drinks easy, a pint and glasses of wine, that?s not hard! \n\nMy frustrations lie in trying to order a drink with our choice of mixer. Via the app I can pick my choice of gin, but as a group who takes soda water as a mixer this does not exist anymore. I do recall that I was able to in the past, so I asked the staff at the bar if I could order a gin with soda water. They asked for my table number and advised me that soda water was free, if they knew my table number they would provide this with my drinks.\n\nI tried to order 3 gins with no mixer but sadly this was not an available option either. I would have ordered a glass of soda water but this was not available either. Therefore I ordered 3 different gins with mixers (which were not required) which of course I was charged for. \n\nTim Martin was the man who told his staff to get a job at Tesco during the pandemic, yet somehow I thought his pub would be welcoming of returning custom after lockdown restrictions had eased. \n\nSuch a shame because food is great value, but I will think again before I return.

my first post covid shut down meal and a strange but happy experience with having to deal with covid measures.\nyou will be seated by a server and you can order using the app and be served to table or order at the bar.\nit was a busy saturday afternoon and it took two attempts to get a seat however it was only a short wait.\ntwo pizzas were well cooked and tasty, one bbq chicken and the other was ham and mushroom.\ni wanted the mangalorean vegetable curry but it was sold out so i settled for a chicken tikka masala with garlic naan which was tasty and creamy but the only downside was very dry rice like from the bottom of the pot.\nall in all a satisfying return to eating out

Rare steak was so overcooked it could've been used for shoe leather. No staff about. Only one taking meals to tables. 3 at bar. 1 taking stickers off a board behind bar. \nPoor service today.\nI went to bar was offered new steak....but why would I want one when they couldn't cook first.
