Sometimes to handy with just round the corner, friendly staff, go out there way to help you when occasionally having a child with asn having a sensory overload in the shop.
Asda has everything you need .Brand items to there own products. I find myself buying Asda quality products from tolieteries, makeup, sprays, clothing, household, entertainment, toys, and a few brand names. Also when your finished shopping you can head over to Cafe and eat and drink and kids eat for a £1 plus there's a takeaway service plus you can order on Just eat to have it delivered home. So spoiled for choice. Thankyou Ayr Asda.

Went to this store on Friday 3rd January 2025. Never again. Both myself and partner are mobility limited. I used a store scooter, my partner a stick and a trolley. Getting around the store was ok. But when it came to checking out there were only 2 normal till, only 1of which was manned! The queue snaked backed into the store! We were directed to use self the checkouts! These are NOT COMPATIBLE for disabled shoppers!! This was the first and definitely the last time I will be going to this store. Unless they see sense and re-open some more manned tills!! ??

Cyo pizza is great but don't go in after19.30 for pizza as the assistant informed me I could get a particular topping because of allergies as to whose allergies she was referring to I don't as I don't have allergies I can only assume she had allergies but if that was the why is she working at a food counter ,or was it the case she didn't want open up another container of the ingreedient I wanted. Lazy or what you decide.

What a decline in standards. One of the worst stores I have had the misfortune to visit. Such a poor entrance into the store, feels like a third world country. Poorly stocked shelfs. No 2ltr milk bottles ,no extra thick bacon and many more items at 10.00 in the morning. Several self serve till closed. Poorly maintained surroundings feels like complete contempt for their customers. Asda kilmarnock and irvine better run. Will not return. I will use tesco or travel to Kilmarnock. Heathfield B&M and home bargains far superior considering they are budget stores.

The standards in Asda AYR have declined drastically over the last year or so. I find the store to be grubby and very untidy. The shelves are often empty and if not very messy, disheveled and unkempt. The refrigerator area is especially messy and just a couple of weeks ago one of the freezers was virtually empty and the base of it was filthy ( where the actual products are piled inside ) it was strewn with burst food bag pieces of frozen chips and veg etc.
There is NEVER any baskets available at the door for customers to use so you have to go hunting one out. I was told when I complained about this that it was to prevent shop lifting!! ( nonsense! )
Outside the store is even grimmer! The shrub area all around the stores carpark is absolutely covered in litter and cans etc. ( all trapped under the planted areas of the stores property. It?s an eyesore and really puts me off shopping in this store at Liberator Drive AYR. I raised the issue of the unsightly litter with a female manageress several months ago and she promised me that she?d deal with my complaint and have the grounds of the store cleaned up?..she obviously did nothing as the litter issue is worse than ever.
Don?t ASDA care about the planet and how litter and plastics are harmful to nature and the planet in general? I took photos of the state of the grounds and emailed them with a complaint to Asda HQ with details of my issues but I was ignored and heard nothing back whatsoever.
Asda in Ayr really has declined something awful, it?s messy and very dirty and it seems the store and Asda HQ really couldn?t care less.
