A Humiliating policy.I recently was on the recieving end of Aldi's new 'random' 'bag check' policy.Never felt insulted by a cashier before but there's a first for everything apparently.From reading reports online, this doesn't sound like something the staff are necessarily happy doing. I'm all for deterring shop lifting but the fact this is something they do randomly and no doubt reluctantly results in the customer in front of you not being asked to 'lift their bag to see there's nothing in it'And you being asked... Seriously, Humiliating.So if they want to enforce such a policy you either do it to everyone or no one.If you do it randomly, the implication is that you obviously feel singled out for looking 'suspicious'.I genuinely don't think I'll be going back because of this, I don't want to go shopping in a place where I might be 'randomly' selected Infront of other customers to prove I'm not a shoplifter.

Plenty of produce, and as usual some great bargains in the centre aisles. My shopping came to much less than it would have in other supermarkets.

Very nice place car park is a bit rubbish trolleys mice and straight toilets cramped staff fleetingly seen at times.good value good checkouts lack of xmas atmosphere

My new favourite Aldi, the aisles were spacious, no crates or trolleys of food blocking the way. I wish I had this Aldi in Yorkshire, it was great
