“Great place to stay rooms are very clean and beds comfortable. Staff are all lovely. The food is fabulous and right in the middle of Aviemore. Extremely useful if travelling by train as it is opposite the railway station.”

“We stayed for 2 nights in a deluxe double room. The bed was so comfortable and we enjoyed the Elemis goodies and robes in the bathroom. The hotel complex caters well for kids but for couples, it is more limited. It felt like everything was geared towards kids, which we don't have. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice although the staff in the serving room don't serve with a smile. Having said that, Ryan on the front desk was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. He was so lovely, happy to help and knew loads about the local area.”

“I spent 2 nights in Aviemore. The rooms at Morlich Hotel at Macdonald Aviemore Resort are small, but comfortable. No more than 2 people per room and that's pushing it if you've got a lot of luggage. The bathroom and room were clean for my stay and I was satisfied with the service received. Be mindful in the dining room, steps are the same tile throughout the entire room so they are easy to miss. Definitely a tripping hazard.”

“We had a lovely time at Coylumbridge hotel. Stayed for two nights in a double room. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean. Sure, the interior isn't perfect, but I wasn't really paying attention to that. It wasn't important to me. Cleanliness was though. We enjoyed the swimming pools and sauna (although the sauna is small and can be hard to get in sometimes as some folk like to spend a long time in them..) The beds were very comfortable, which was a huge plus! I stayed at a place in Stirling a couple of months ago and couldn't even sleep on the beds there - they were like bricks. I was so grateful to have a comfy bed at Coylumbridge! Lots to do in this hotel! There are two games areas that include lots of grabber machines, rides for children, air hockey and various other fun things to do. The fun house next door is great fun also! There are animatronic dinosaurs between the hotel and fun house which were a very fun touch. The fun house itself isn't bad either. You can choose from a game of mini golf, which was very impressive. There is a tiny bowling alley enough for two people, but that was fun too. Lots of games and machines, a huge soft play area and vintage style diner. We weren't far at all from the main street in Aviemore, just a few minutes by car. There's a lovely chip shop nearby (world famous I think it's called). We didn't eat in the hotel as the prices were a bit expensive, but there's an Aldi and Tesco nearby, as well as some lovely coffee shops in Aviemore. Very happy with our stay and will definitely return next year. Thank you all, at Coylumbridge! Great team.”
