Trying to get home to the Midlands from the Highlands, caravan in tow, the Range Rover developed a fault and kept going into Restricted Performance mode. Called them on Monday afternoon, they explained that they were very busy but if I brought it in first thing Tuesday they'd have a look at it.They diagnosed a split inlet hose. Didn't have any in stock, would be Wednesday before they could get one, probably Thursday or Friday before they could fit it (it's a fairly time-consuming job on the Rangie).Somehow they managed to finish it and bring it back to me on Wednesday at a local caravan site.Excellent service, highly recommended.

I've used Strathearn for the past 3 plus years, and generally very helpful, but the service recently has become absolutely shocking.Tail end of last year they replaced the engine in my TD5, now have a leaking fuel filter, and when i eventually got to speak to someone, the earliest they could do something was 2-3 weeks away.This from a company who up to now have always tried look at the defender straight away.Dont know why the service has gone south, but I'm now looking for another independent.l

I?ve held off writing this review. My initial booking in and the work carried out was fine (oil change)The LR was then booked in a second time for a noise that only happened on a cold start the LR was there for a week in that time I only got updated if I called them after a week I went and collected my LR to be told yeah we heard the noise? Why didn?t they use diagnostics? Land Rover specialist?It seems they have far more important things to work on that my Land Rover.Booked into another LR indie, 4 hours after they took the LR in I received a telephone call with a diagnosis of problem cost to fix and collected my car 2 days later sorted and good to go!I don?t like leaving bad reviews I try to be honest and impartial but unfortunately for me strathearn engineering falls way below par and I wouldn?t return or recommend them.

Excellent service,used this garage for an EDT engine flush as they are the only agent in perthshire that have and operate this machine,well worth the money spend my peugeot partner van is smoother and generally a better drive after having this treatment , highly recommended!

Fantastic place for land/range rover repair. Highly trained staff who actually know what they're doing. Had lots of issues with my husbands range rover sport and half the time it was hard to figure out what the issue was but they find it in a few minutes. Great people there. Would highly recommend them to anyone.
