“On a recent journey from Dumfries to Aberdeen the underfloor heat shield on my Kuga 2.0 broke loose and started to scrape on the road surface. I made it to Blackford where I found that the local garage, McNaughton's, had just closed. By chance I met the owner in the village and he offered to reopen the garage and make the necessary repair. We were soon on the road once more. An excellent and most welcome gesture from a relieved motorist. Much appreciated. Thanks.”
