Thank you, Cu Mara, for another delicious meal - the hot Scottie burger for me and the wagyu burger for my friend, followed by the shared indulgence of a cinnamon swirl cheesecake. Absolutely delicious!
Oh, and the Merlot was pretty good too.
I have to comment on the service though, it was excellent; attentive yet subtle, and always with genuine smiles.

Fantastic place for our lunch today. Really friendly staff and the food was really good. We booked a table but there weren't that many people in when we visited.
It's well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Loved it all the way...
We had the Japanese dynamite mussels with udon and ramen broth which were simply dynamite. We devoured them in no time. They were £ 21 but such value for money. Still dreaming about them while writing this review.
The Nashville chicken waffles were also delicious.

This is a wonderful local place actually owned and operated by a local resident as opposed to some of the other local eating establishments which are corporate owned. The location is right on the loch. The interior is charming with eclectic inviting decor. We had the Japanese mussel dish which was a special for the night. It was a generous portion, spicy as promised, and really delicious. This restaurant was a great respite from the run of the mill Scotland standard fare.
