Only a heater over all towels can be hung.- There is no toilet paper roll holder- One large and one small towel are provided for a week stay. This is too little- There are only 2 kitchen towels.- The toilet brushes were pretty dirty.- At the top of the toilet, the rinse is very very weak, so it needs to be rinsed 4.5,6 times- There is only a small chest of drawers for all clothes down in the master bedroom.- In the upper bedroom, there is a tiny closet for all clothing. Almost every pressure lock was broken, so the doors had to be opened with fingernails.The only wardrobe of the house is in the guest room.- There is not a single whiskey glass. Very sad for a Scottish accommodation. There is also no glass suitable for a whiskey, that should be changed. In the end, we drank the whiskey from wine glasses.Overall, a really nice place with a fantastic location. All criticisms are to be considered in relation to the price and in terms of the claim to a 5 star self-catering accommodation.We still had a great time and would probably come again. The operator should, however, take the criticisms to heart. most are customizable with very little financial effort.(Original)Das Skye Window House ist wunderschön gelegen und bietet phantastische Aussichten. Die Ausstattung ist generell gehoben für eine Ferienunterkunft, nichts desto trotz kann das Haus dem 5 Sterne Anspruch den ich stelle nicht komplett gerecht werden.Zumal knapp 2000€ für eine Woche nicht wenig Geld sind. Somit erwarte ich auch zu einem gewissen Grad an Perfektion.+ Die Lage ist sehr gut für Tagesausflüge. Sowohl der Jacobite train als auch andere Ausflugsziele wie z.B. Portree, Old man of Storr, Elgol- Loch Coruisk, Otter Hide, etc. pp sind gut erreichbar.+ Die Ausstattung mit Parkett, Fußbodenheizung, Kamin, Badewanne, Dusche, Küche gemütlichen Matratzen ist prinzipiell hochwertig.Allerdings gibt es auch einige Abstriche die ich folgend aufliste:- Die Luftzufuhr des Kamins war defekt, sodass ein Feuer nur mit leicht offener Kamintür möglich war.- Das Haus wurde auf 26Grad ! vorgewärmt. Es hat 2 Tage gedauert, bis es sich vollständig runtergeregelt hat. Wir mussten in den Einstellungen der Heizung herumfummeln- Die Kaminscheibe war so verdreckt, dass sie zuerst gründlich von mir gereinigt werden musste - um tatsächlich ein Feuer sehen zu können. Ich finde nicht, dass das Aufgabe eines Gastes ist.- Es gibt keine Handtuchaufhänger im Badezimmer unten. Nur eine Heizung über die alle Handtücher gehängt werden können.- Es gibt keine Klopapierrollen Halterung- Es werden jeweils ein großes und ein kleines Handtuch für eine Woche Aufenthalt geboten. Das ist zu wenig- Es gibt nur 2 Küchenhandtücher.- Die Klobürsten waren ziemlich verdreckt.- Bei dem Klo oben ist die Spülung sehr sehr schwach, sodass 4,5,6 mal gespült werden muss- Es gibt unten im " Masterbedroom" nur eine kleine Kommode für die gesamte Kleidung.- Im oberen Schlafzimmer gibt es einen winzigen Wandschrank für die gesamte Kleidung.
