A nice journey to Isle of Muck and back but boat crew need to be more welcoming to folks who are not Scots.

We had a tasty coffee in the cafe followed by a day trip to Muck, which was spectacular (due to the wonderful weather). If staff on the boat had been friendly it would have been a perfect day.

Quite a let down as the Arisaig Tea Room is now a take away with tables. So you still get the same view and tables to sit at but everything comes in cardboard cups and containers, at cafe prices. To be fair the lentil soup was excellent just served in a squidgy cardboard container. The coffee too was excellent but in cardboard cup. The cheese and chutney sandwich was dire on the worst cheap white bread with pretty tasteless cheese and the chutney was like a runny sauce dripping all over the table. The service was pleasant friendly and prompt. I am not sure who this style of eating is aimed at but several potential customers turned and left. Great pity but won?t return.

A fair bit smaller than the Calmac ferry but a very enjoyable way to cross. There?s ample parking at the Marina, and cafe has food and well stocked shop, as well as toilets and showers if there?s anything you need before the crossing

They have a nice little cafe with good coffee, but they don't allow dogs into the cafe, so if it is raining, you can sit outside and take a brolly

Enjoyed coffee ,delicious carrot cake and amazing view of Arisaig bay here last month. Staff very welcoming, friendly and informative. A really nice place to sit in (or out side weather permitting!) and catch up with family and friends. Love the little gift shop attached. Cafe was spotlessly clean . A very positive experience all round and will be back soon !
