Ardrossan Asda Cafeteria is absolutely exquisite. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat, or a delicious hot chocolate. A gorgeous balcony view topped it off.

Asda was a delight to dine in. Hot chocolate was spectacular service was amazing and what a view. Free wifi was so generous along with the wonderful colouring in station. Was a little hard to find with the lack of signs but overall a 10/10 experience.

Good supermarket, has a lot of necessary food items with an area for clothing from George, has about everything you'd need

Decent enough supermarket but could do with an extension as it doesnt have everything handy though. Has a cafe upstairs with offers. Pain in the backside doors which dont work with any winds outside. Has a petrol station also and decent parking as well as an area for click and collect. Sometimes the upstairs toilets are closed and this leaves a single loo downstairs and the over zealous security will chase you if you try to use upstairs which is ridiculous. They make pizzas and can cook them also and price for this is very reasonable £5.40 for large.

They don't open till 8am on a Sunday. Was told they hadn't updated the site since covid. Really poor. Stood outside freezing for an hour..

Really quiet at 9.30 on a Saturday night. Good selection of reduced items. Ideal for my needs ahead of getting the ferry to Arran. Fresh Singapore noodle dish for 2 reduced to £2.20, loaf of bread 10p, local/Scots stouts & some tasty lemon muffins. Was worried there wouldn't be a fuel stop ahead of getting on the ferry but there's self serve fuel pumps here too (& an Esso just off the main road). Toilet too, although it's not the most pleasant smelling & you need to get the key from Customer Services. Definitely worth popping in. Just enjoying my finds now.

Went in Sunday 9.30pm and constantly every 2/3minutes an annoying member of staff on the loud speaker would say this store is closing please head to the self checkout. This was @9.35/40. Even when i went to pay only one self checkout was open and a line of 5 people. So i left the store at 9.45 and the announcement was saying basically were closed. Got to be the most anxiety enducing supermarket sweep ive ever done. Cheers asda

Well stocked supermarket, went in with the intention of buying one item of clothing but ended buying a basket full of other bits.

Im in most days sometimes 2/3 times a day, I personally enjoy the store and all it has to offer. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful there is always one or two in every team of colleagues that let it down. My only personal complaint is alot of the times the shelves are left empty for days on end with no products I?ve waited 3 days for a certain cat food and the same amount of days for cooked chicken as well as irn bru in bottles or packs! I?ve been in daily and still nothing so it does get annoying after a while and this is some of many items! I could personally name even more that?s sat empty for days now & this is nothing new unfortunately.

This is NOT about the store itself, but rather the cafe upstairs. OK, it's just a supermarket cafe, but guys, really! We got there at about 2.45pm and were told almost everything was "off" the menu. From the tiny selection actually available, we chose, regrettably, a chicken burger with chips and salad, and I had a Mac n' Cheese. My partner chewed her way through the highly processed and very dry (no condiments except vinegar) burgers while I tried to eat the worst Mac n" Cheese I've had for years. The top was, I think, microwaved until it was almost solid, totally inedible, but roasting hot. OK, it's a supermarket cafe, not Pierre Marco White's, but never again! NEVER AGAIN.

Asda is a decent place to shop or go for coffee or soft drinks or even something to eat although I myself personally don't like the majority of food for consumption in the cafeteria and feel that the food is very bland as well as unoriginal. Could make the menu more exciting with good leadership. Most of the staff are nice enough although sometimes get that young woman that has no interest in helping you and tend to get workers standing around having conversations with each other while you stand about for 10 minutes waiting to buy cigarettes or lottery tickets. Good range of products on sale although some of these are excessively priced. Still I would shop around.
