I had a beef burger which was raw in the middle. I ate it anyway as I was hungry. Unfortunately a few hours later I had an upset stomach.

We went to Ellenabeich for a visit, with no idea about places to eat. We were looking for Sunday Lunch but found The Oyster Bar. What a find. When we asked if they welcomed dogs, they really did. Our dog was made to feel as welcome as we were. The choice of food was amazing, from Cullen skink to Langoustine. We went with Scampi and Fish and Chips, the food was excellent. Fish was fresh and the batter so light. We also had Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. Even though the retaurant was busy the service was prompt. warm and attentive. Would love to say we will return, but the location being so far from us we can but hope. we would return tommorrow given the chance. The only regret was, we were made to feel so welcome and relaxed, we forgot to leave a tip. Apologies to The Oyster Bar Restaurant. An amazing meal in. a stunning setting that made a memorable day. Thank You.

Such a long way from a sizeable town it was great to find this bar-restaurant for an evening meal. The food was good, but should langoustines really cost £4.50 each so close to the source?

Booked for early dinner as part of a day trip to the area. Warm welcome and lovely refurbed space to enjoy a drink (as we arrived early ahead of our dinner service). Between our group we had mussels, haddock and steak and ale pie. Food was fresh, delicious, quality and locally sourced. Staff were friendly and attentive. Setting was lovely. Ellenabeich and Easdale are beautiful, delightful places to visit and the Oyster Bar is a must visit as part of any trip to the area. Dog friendly, recommend reserving ahead for food. Check website and social media for food service times throughout the season.

We ate dinner there in July. I had a delicious bowl of Cullen skink, and my teenage daughter had the cajun chicken sandwich - She said it was the best chicken sandwich she'd ever had!

Great service and fantastic Cullen skink with bread, unfortunately not langoustine left on this occasion. The Cullen Skink did the trick though ?

The Oyster Bar & Restaurant on the Isle of Seil offers an excellent pub experience! The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, enhancing the overall atmosphere. The live Scottish music band adds a fantastic touch to the ambiance. A perfect spot for a delightful evening. Highly recommend for a memorable time with great vibes!
