Was in here sat morning the girl behind the counter was lovely was trying to change a dog crate that I had bought in perth as perth did not have I went to arbroath I did not know I needs the reciept the girl at the desk was apologised then said she would ask her boss mean time this young girl approached no very nice attitude at all
just glad it was not her on the desk

We have had our tropical fish tank set up
For 3 years now. Built a brilliant community of fish. However our tetras were slowly over the years, declining.
My husband purchased 12 tetras, on the 1st July. The first time for over 18 months we have introduced new fish to our thriving tank.
He was grilled throughly about the set up, community etc before purchasing.
So 17 days later, we lost one of our cat fish 3 days ago, and tonight the other fish are looking ill, lethargic. 3 years most of these fish have been in this 200ltr tank. Water is brilliant, our bristlenose plecs have breed previously.
The tetras had white spot, it infected the whole tank. So despite being grilled by the staff, on set up, fish in tank already, they obviously never treated/quarantined them appropriately before selling.
As I said 3 years set up before we introduced these to our tank no issues what so ever?less than 3 weeks later, white spot and 1 original member gone. Potentially 2.
We are going to treat the tank but to say we are gutted after using discovery aquatics and dobbies fish keeper perviously to build our community with no issues, that pets at home who grilled us the most for tetras, to be the one who ruined the 3 years hard work of my husbands pride and joy. :(

Spoke to a lovely girl on the phone called Keira, she was not only really helpful but also a very kind girl, she definitely cheered me up. I told her I just lost my hamster that was over 2 years old, she chatted to me about hamsters and made me feel a lot better about continuing to help more go into a good home. It was nice just to talk to someone who understands? the girl with blonde hair in the shop at around 5:30 yesterday was also really lovely and helped me with anything I asked, lovely staff that care about the animals they sell??

Pets at home is a great pet shop that has all your needs and wants for your pets.
Staff are great and friendly.
Prices are quite high for some items.
And the rabbit hay for feeding is quite low quality in my opinion, bought a couple times and it?s crumbly and dusty.
