Absolutely love this place, been coming here regularly since I was 12 and the food is top notch in a beautiful location. That being said I was devastated my most recent visit to see that they had changed the way they served their scallops, which I normally always get as a starter, from being served on a shell swimming in garlic butter and crispy bacon with bread to mop up the juice, to on a cold tasteless pea puree instead. Heartbreaking change, but if they stick to serving them this way maybe it'll encourage me to try something new, or skip the starter entirely - which my bank balance will approve of!

Thought we would head over for lunch before it gets crazy busy. What a lovely spot and what amazing weather too. We went over the Bealach and back round the coast - it's an amazing circular drive. Lunch was great and very friendly

I left a review a couple of years ago saying that the food wasn't as good as in previous years, went back recently and had what was one of the best meals I've ever had and the service was second to none. Can't wait to go

This is one of the best Inn's you will ever visit, cosy, friendly, comfy and the food was lovely. The view is astounding but be prepared for single track roads with pot holes and steep accents and decent, these roads are not for the feint hearted. The long way is the easier route.Rooms: Cosy rooms, double bed but be aware there is not a TV. This didn't bother us.Food & drinks: The monkfish was incredible, had it pan-fried. Dessert was also lovely!

Booked a mid Feb stay at the Applecross inn with its beautiful views across the bay as it was recommended as being very dog friendly, the food and drink was great and not too overly priced despite the rural location, the Applecross peninsula needs to be driven to be appreciated and the Inn is a lovely midway stopover. Highly recommended by Geoff the black Lab.... and my wife too.

Had the opportunity to eat lunch with friends at the Applecross Inn. I had a beef burger and it blew me away. I was expecting an average burger and what arrived was excellent. The burger was home made and the taste exploded in my mouth. Anyway, enough with the food, they also serve an excellent dark ale as well. What is going on, this is just brilliant

Proper pub and inn in a magnificent location. Great food and brilliant drink selection. I recommend taking the high road to it, if weather and the season allow it. It is very much worth the effort and the inn will feel even more as a reward after the journey.
