Room completely renovated, very nice, extremely tasteful and functional.Staff very friendly and accommodating.We had to change hotels at short notice in the evening and were lucky to find 2 rooms here. Out of season also at a very good price. Breakfast included.Cars could be parked in front of the door or there was also a parking space around the corner.In the evening there was a restaurant and bar downstairs.

Rooms are nicely decorated, clean & spacious. Hotel was a Bank !!! Staff, atmosphere & food are excellent. Hotel is 10/15 drive from most of the golf courses.Rooms: Rooms are lovely, clean and generous in size.Nearby activities: The Bank Hotel is surrounded by lots of golf courses ..... most are 10/15 drive away MAXIMUMWalkability: Great walk through the town or to the harbour/beachFood & drinks: Food is excellent, drinks are too nice ??Noteworthy details: Staff are brilliant, full of smiles and very helpful

We came for a family lunch which was delicious, the service is always good and the location of The Bank is amazing. We visit every time we are in Anstruther. We visited the next day for breakfast which was a bit of a let down, the eggs were really dry and some of the other items a bit cold but otherwise fine. Its also dog friendly too and during the summer the beer garden is a sun trap and they have amazing cocktails ?

Great weekend stay. Very nice, well equipped room with a great view of the sea (Room 4). The fridge in the room was a nice touch. The breakfast was great, really tasty using great local produce. We dined in for dinner and the food was top-notch, really tasty and well presented. Loved the sticky toffee pudding!All of the staff were really friendly and engaging and couldn't do enough for us. Thanks to Connor, Victor and Amy.

This was undoubtedly the most uninviting staff I've experienced, and I'm quite unfussy. Spent time here for breakfast recently, staff were ignorant and openly rude to my family. My advice go anywhere else, it's not a pleasant experience.

Saw in the New Year at The Bank and we had a wonderful time in an excellent atmosphere. The bar staff were fantastic.Went back on New Year's day for a meal and again everything was great.

Very nice people that are on in the bar and looking after the hotel this evening. This is the first of two nights. Very helpful and the people in the bar know their beer and whisky. I appreciate their suggestions and recommendations. The room is very clean and nice. Clean toilet and bed is what you should expect but I always appreciate it and that?s not what you always get in other places. Nice atmosphere in the bar as well.Rooms: Clean, nice comfortable beds. The tv is good and large as well. I?ve been to some hotels recently in England where the tv was out of the 1950s so good points for that.Nearby activities: Eating and the harbour as far as I?ve seen after just a few hours. The harbour is a cracking area. Great views over Firth of Forth.Safety: Locked outside door leading to the rooms. That?s good and secure. Room I?m in seems to have a double lock, which is also good.Walkability: Nice short walk to the harbour and the food in The Bank is excellent, but if you want to eat at the harbour then the location is good for that too. I would recommend that you have breakfast here and an evening meal. But make sure you try the fish and chips in the town. Anstruther Fish Bar is nearby and superb.Food & drinks: Good selection of real ales and whisky. The drinks are reasonably priced. I?m living about 350 miles south where they are the opposite. This was a nice and welcome thing.
