Not a bad stay.. usually stay in loads of hotels and this is a relatively good one. Well priced and good parking. Few decent pubs and restaurants around. Problems with the heating and TV connections, but expertly dealt with by the reception staff..Only concern is that there is no onsite staff after 10PM..

Popped in for a quick lunch with son and daughter in law. Lunch menu was varied. Started with soup of the day, then various meals from menu. Very nice. Staff very helpful and service was good. Will visit again.

Was a lovely cosy room, very clean and bed very comfy, staff were very friendly and helpful, we didn't have breakfast but they made us a pack lunch , that was very nice , definitely will be back , ??

Lovely wee old hotel...staff absolutely lovely....Abby checked me in and helped me carry my bags up to the room , Nicola served breakfast every day and was always working hard and ensured we had everything we needed and Madison and Mark on the bar were also very nice and made us feel welcome...give these guys a pay rise...From Robert...room 208..

Friendly staff, good location, plenty of parking. But...loud music from adjacent pub meant no sleep till 2am. Room was clean and nicely appointed. Would stay again but not on a weekend due to noise. Earplugs essential

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff, which worked as a good stop off near to the M6/M74, but a poor night's sleep due to the bar below the back of the hotel. We live on a main road and are used to noise but the loud music, emptying of glass bottles and drunk shouting in the street was excessive and went on late (+1am) and we wouldn't stay again for that reason. Would be okay if you also want to stay up very late, but placement of a family room at the back of the hotel doesn't work.

What a great place, very welcoming and even arranged an early check in for us, nothing was too much trouble. Superb bed and sleep, great breakfast, friendly staff and very clean. If I am ever nearby again there is only one place to stay.... Perfect

The staff here are exceptionally friendly and helpful, nothing being too much trouble. The room was lovely - a good size, clean and comfortable. The bar/coffee bar lounge was pleasant with a good selection of homemade cakes (the kinder bueno rocky road was amazing). There was a room downstairs to lock my bike in and my bags were stored after. Heck out whilst I explored locally. Will definitely return to stay here again if in the locality.

We recently ordered a takeaway buffet of sandwiches and sausage rolls for a little party for our daughters 1st birthday. We were so impressed with the variety and amount of sandwiches we got, everyone asked where we had got them ?? tasty too! Would definitely order them again or even try the afternoon tea boxes.
