“South West of Scotland Piping & Drumming Academy had three young pipers playing at the entrance to Tesco Superstore in Annan on Sunday afternoon 31st December 2023 from 2.00 until 4.00pm. The kids were Ban Quinn, Scott Little and Eva Graham and they were raising money to help pay for the tuition of piping in Annan Academy.At Tesco Superstore the manageress, Shannen Ferguson, could not have ben nicer to them if she tried. She plied them with sweets to keep them going, and gave them each a goodie bag when they finished. She also gave their parents coffee to keep them warm.
