Good coffee but awful staff service. We could see 9 staff in the cafe with 3 ladies clearing up for the end of the day. 5 youngsters were behind the counter doing no work for the entire 30 min visit. I felt sorry for the ladies tidying the customer area. We are regulars here and the till staff regularly do no work, texting and ignoring customers. Our order was missing items despite the large number of staff.

Can't believe how hard everyone works to maintain the high quality of food & service in the restaurant, and the constantly evolving shop. Difficult to leave without something from the well stocked Deli too!! Thanks to all involved!

It's a great shop, but expensive. Customer service is great, very friendly and helpful, the shop is laid out well. Ample parking and easy access from the A9. Four stars only down to prices.Recommended

Went here for lunch. Lovely shop, lots of different things, even wool and material. Food area had produce from lots of different bakery's. Cafe decent size lots of seating outside. Plenty staff on. Good menu choices and specials board. Prices reasonable. Loaded fries were tasty, Cakes on offer all looked fantastic. Black forest cake was light, fluffy and scrummy. Banana and walnut cake was a tad dry. Coffee was hot and good. Only criticism is no prices for the cakes, that I saw.Definitely be back.

The best all day breakfast I?ve had yet. Proper butcher?s sausages and free range eggs with dark orange yolks and the black pudding was excellent too. Pleasant service and a good atmosphere. The homebakes were incredible! The facilities and shop were very clean and smart - ample parking too. Well worth the visit ?

Lovely food, friendly staff, great atmosphere and amazing gift shop. The wool shop was the cherry on the cake for me. Visited from Maryburgh and had no idea you were even there.

Beautiful shop and lovely lunch. The lemon cheese cake was gorgeous. Soup lovely but was very hot and took a while until we could eat it! The English waitress with blue glasses is very good and so friendly- you?ve no name badges so can?t name you! Thank you team!

It?s my first visit and so very impressed. The layout is exceptional and the staff all so friendly. Next time I will try out the restaurant - it looked inviting but I had already eaten. Lovely place indeed but the signage needs improving, especially at the roundabout off the A9 but presume that?s Highland Council problem. See you all very soon.

Fantastic selection of food and food stuffs. Hard to leave without spending a pretty penny, simply because of the amount of rare and unique choices on offer. The choice of nik-nacks and household decorations/cutlery is very wide and varied. My wife and I gave ourselves a relatively strict budget and still found it very easy to fill a second basket. The ice-cream sold at the door is reasonably priced, comes with vegan options ready.Small area for kids to run around and play seems like it could be very popular if it was busy (we came along at a relatively quiet time of year I reckon). Can't fault it, would go back easily and reccomend to others that would be passing by.

The restaurant food choices and quality were really good. Only down side is that dohs are not allowed in the garden centre area, this results in having to stay outside, so wrap up warm.

Second visit here, it is very pleasant place to spend a couple of hours. Be warned there are so many tempting things, from jewellery, cards, ornaments and candles etc. That's before you get to the cakes! Some great and slightly out of the ordinary clothing. There is a children's play area too at a cost of £3, can't comment as we didn't look at it but it seemed to be very popular.Called in for coffee, and cake, it was so good we went back the next day for lunch and came out with several purchases. The staff are very friendly and so helpful.

Lovely spot to visit with family, children and adults. Lovely big café which is always busy so be aware, but food always good (the cakes are amazing!). Farm area for children, small farm shop and gift shop with lovely bits in. Recommend if in the area.

My girlfriend and I had a lovely brunch here yesterday at around 1pm. We waited a bit to be seated as the restaurant was full, but it was worth it as we just browsed through the shop for about 15-20 minutes. The lady serving us was very attentive and quick, the food took no time to arrive, and it was delicious! The all day breakfast and sweet potato fries were absolutely fantastic, and the coffee and hot chocolate were heartwarming. The selection of desserts was very generous and I wish I had more space to fit some in, but even the small breakfast was very filling. The restrooms were clean and easily accessible. The customer wi-fi was password protected, but we believe that was good as we managed to enjoy each others' company instead of being on our phones. At the end of the visit we did a quick groceries shop, for a very reasonable price. We would definitely like to come back if we'll be around again.
