I am new to the area but keep coming back here. Staff are super friendly. Food excellent, especially the lentil soup. Coffee is hot and tasty. Set overlooking the trout farm in a large child/dog friendly old stone building, it's a lovely place to sit a while.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and drinks as part of a longer journey. My friends had the soup, I just had an irn bru. Nice little place. Just note the car park is just past the cafe and only a 2 minute walk away.

Great relaxed atmosphere in the old mill building with the mill stream running through it at one end. Mix of chairs and tables and comfy sofas and coffee tables. We sat on a bench table with another group but individual tables as well. Nice choice of food including options for gluten free versions of most things. Food was fresh and very good. Staff were very friendly and the service was quick. Disabled parking outside with the main car park a very short walk alongside the lade stream. Lots of spaces. Very enjoyable place to relax and enjoy a meal.
