My bro and me stopped here for a couple of pints on our amazing cycle run. We didn't try the food but will definitely stop for food the next time. This was our first time visiting this beautiful establishment. The staff are so kind and welcoming. We both had a good time visiting and I would definitely stop off here again. Would just like to say a big thank you to all the staff. You all made our day even better.

Great stop for lunch with homemade food. It is dog friendly with the staff being very friendly towards our dog. If you're looking for somewhere with a classic pub feeling and amazing food, this is where to go! Lots of outside picnic tables for the option to sit outside too.

Found this place on Google maps as it was the nearest place. It had good reviews and was dog friendly so thought we should give it a try.
We weren't disappointed, the staff were very friendly and the regulars we spoke to were also really nice. We had a lovely meal in a great atmosphere, bonus was that it's super dog friendly.

We aren't in Perth much these days, but back in the day the Pitcairngeen Inn was a a place we used and liked.
An unplanned stop today for a light lunch in gloriius sunshine to sit outside and enjoy a nice cask ale, a quirky fun menu to choose from and they kindly allowed us to share a steak pie....with no drama or tutting as some other places might. The steak pie was excellent too as was the Turkish delight cheesecake!
The cherry on top was the smiling, helpful girls who were serving.
A really enjoyable visit and highly recommended

Me and my partner were visiting the area from North Yorkshire for the week, we struggled to find some good local pubs which had a menu that popped out and that welcomed our furry friend!
After discovering the Pitcairngreen inn, we were pleasantly surprised, upon first glance the pub looks a touch deserted from the exterior; but we put this down to the gloomy day and damp weather. After walking through the door we were greeted by a lovely young man who was more than happy to assist us and get us seated at a table and give us some time to review the food and drink choices.
The food, what can I say other than superb! We were both flabbergasted as the quality of the food, we ordered the Nachos to share as a starter; accompanied with cheese and fried chicken, and what a treat, all homemade by the looks of things, the portion size was large but it was devoured nevertheless!
To follow for main, we enjoyed a steak and ale pie and a Sirloin steak, cooked medium to rare. And I can comfortably say, it was cooked to perfection and accompanied by the best homemade Parmesan chips for the steak and homemade fries for the pie.
To finish we devoured the homemade fudge sundae, topped with homemade ice cream and hand whipped cream! Perfect presentation! I finished off with a dark chocolate cheesecake accompanied again by their very own homemade vanilla ice cream!
To top it all off, a very pleasant experience and service received from the staff on a whole.
Special compliments to the young gentleman behind the bar whom served us this evening and the chef(s) who prepared such mouthwatering courses.

I took my friend on her first visit to this lovely little pub today and she will definitely be back.
I had my usual chicken with peppercorn instead of blue cheese sauce and she had the steak pie, as she does every time we're out for a meal. Mine, as always, was delicious....my friend confirmed that her's was the best steak pie she had ever had. We also had a portion of delicious onion rings between us.
The sticky toffee pudding was really moreish, too.
I can safely say we will both be back again.
The Inn isn't big, and when we arrived it was very busy but we were still welcomed and didn't have to wait too long for our food.
Would definitely recommend. Very reasonably priced, too.

After a long drive up from Cornwall we were desperate to find somewhere for a good meal after trying several places on the way which looked good on the outside but looked more like a cheap council version of a social club we were delighted to walk into the Pitcairngreen to find staff greeting you as you walked in and sitting you down next to a log fire. The service was exceptional and the food came quickly to our delight. The chips were amazing and the prices we thought were cheap considering. Definitely would come again. 100%

Delicious home-made food, x 2 steak pie, was best I have had, loads of tender meat and plenty gravey, macaroni cheese & Katsu Chicken, stick toffee puddings & after eight cheese cake ? all staff friendly and attentive, busy wee country pub with a good atmosphere and I found it very reasonably priced for a meal for 4, highly recommend, we will definitely be back.
