We visited last Saturday and it is a really lovely and beautiful place to visit. A brilliant walk through the woods and down to the loch, with so much nature to see. I feel so lucky that we got to meet the awesome Pauline and Ben who were both so friendly, welcoming and incredibly knowledgable. They were a real highlight. In fact, after chatting to them, we have decided to become members of RSPB. Both Ben and Pauline could not have been more awesome. I believe Ben was very new to the team as well! This was very surprising! He?s a real pro.We bought a few badges from the little site office. Pauline discussed Yellowhammer birds with us (amongst many others), so we got one in badge form. It?ll be forever on our wall as a reminder of an awesome day and meeting such great people.Thank you so much guys! :)(We will definitely be coming back!)

A very well kept nature reserve with different walking routes. We took the longer walk down to the lake which goes through some beautiful woodland and across the fen. We saw some red squirrels and there are some great views of the Loch. I especially liked that you can hear so many insects in the woods. We only met a few other people as we where there in the evening. There is a board at the entrance where you can write down what animals you saw. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Absolutely lovely little reserve. The boardwalk is amazing and seeing an Osprey at the far end of my walk was a highlight of a lovely stroll around the reserve. I?ll definitely be back soon, chuffed to bits I visited..

We always love a walk at the RSPB Loch lomond. The new walkway down to the Loch is great though we haven't seen any lizards or any of the beavers who just moved in. The pond is great in the summer and we have paid to do the pond dipping experience a couple of times. Very child friendly but digs must be kept on a lead. The staff who we've met have always been really helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at Loch Lomond RSPB reserve! Lovely Pauline Gray welcomed us and was informative, knowledgeable and helpful: passing on invaluable facts about the local birds and wildlife. Despite a few raindrops, we loved wandering on the well-surfaced tracks; through the most stunning bluebells in the woodland; over the reedbeds on the new boardwalks, and down to the beautiful tiny beach and the panoramic views over the loch. We spotted many birds such as the redpoll for the first time (on the busy feeder by the entrance) and were aware of the presence of a sedge warbler by the dipping pond. Thank you Pauline for your kindness in imparting such a lot of local information, and being so fabulous! We look forward to our next visit.

This is a lovely reserve with a good path, beautiful carved seats, a new board walk and a few places to picnic. When we visited we think we caught a glimpse of one of the Ospreys flying overhead. There is a pond and a nearby bird feeder where you will see lots of small birds. There isn't a visitor centre but there are toilets. They have just joined up the two original paths with a board walk.

Loch Lomond side is a beautiful place to live, and having this fantastic facility on our doorstep is tremendous. Visited this afternoon on what can only be described as a changeable day weather wise, but every change in the weather only emphasised how spectacular the local area is with its autumnal colours. Access to the RSPB site is clearly shown parking is good. There are facilities available, the marked footpaths are really well maintained and are suitable for most users. The volunteers are clearly enthusiastic and are keen to pass on their knowledge

Lovely! Constant birdsong & changing scenery. They?ve just opened a third, longer trail that goes through wetland (we saw an osprey!!) and woodland, down to Loch Lomond. We spent a couple of hours wandering round and chatted to Pauline (RSPB volunteer) before and after our walk. She was so friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable - so big shout out to her!The shorter trails include a look out and picnic spot, and a dragonfly pond. The woodland trail also has lots of bird quizzes, aimed at children but fun for adults too.Paths were mostly fine gravel and even surfaces. Had two well maintained portaloos. ????

Beautiful woodland and boardwalk trails on the banks of Loch Lomond. This recently improved site has great smooth paths for all ages with a few short trails down to Loch Lomond. It does include a couple of step inclines but still passable on a mobility scooter. There is a pond with dipping sessions for the kids and plenty of wooden benches if you need a break to sit and enjoy nature. We took a picnic and stopped at a beautiful acorn themed bench. If you are looking for a few hours of peace and quiet this is the place for you. ??Restrooms: A couple of porta loos!Dog-friendliness: Lots of paths but during bird breeding they must be controlled on a lead.Picnic area: A few picnic tables dotted around.

Lovely place to visit with nice walks and view across Loch lomond. The rspb ladies were very welcoming and told us what to look out for and what had been sighted today.Restrooms: 2 porta loos situated behind the shed at the carpark, one being disabled friendly.Dog-friendliness: Dogs allowed but must stay on leads due to disturbing the animals on the reserve.Picnic area: Picnic bench at car park and a few benches throughout the walks

Great wee spot for a bit of wandering, wildlife spotting! And relaxing taking in some lovely views! We didn't get round to the big trails but all the paths we walked were buggy accessible. We had lots of fun spotting real wildlife and the odd little sculpture too. We also added some sticks to the den and found a huge feather! Looking forward to working out what bird it may have come from. Only wish we'd brought a picnic to make the most of the views and tables available.

Lovely little reserve, short circular walk with a nice sheltered hide looking over grassland and a pond area. Lots of birds on the feeders.Another accessible walk down to a viewpoint looking over Ben Lomond and the hills beyond. Very quiet and peaceful. Well worth a visit.
