Down on the Loch Lomond shores. A good spot for a bite of lunch. Scone and nice homemade soup were delicious and good quality. It?s also dog friendly which was perfect for us.

Cafe in a small rundown shopping mall on the shores of Loch Lomond, the view over the loch being its main attraction. Seating was very uncomfortable and cushions on our seats were dirty. The floors too had not been cleaned in a while with some very dubious marks on the floor. However the worst part was the awful smell hanging in the air - presumably from something cooked earlier in the day and gone stale. Luckily we only wanted a cup of tea so didn't stop long.Wheelchair accessibility: o.k. for wheelchairs - plenty of room

Website said that Cafe was open until 5pm. We arrived at 3.55pm and we heard another couple being told that it was already closed. No sign to indicate change of hours. Is it closed after 3.30pm or what time?

A nice spot for lunch, service was quick and easy. Food was basic but tasted nice, definitely a good place for lunch but not an evening meal. We had a panini and a jacket potato.

Being vegetarian the menu is so poor egg mayonnaise sandwich and that was it. Bacon with everything! So we walked back out.

Dried out macaroni with barely warm fries, slow service and certainly no zest about this cafe! Toilets opposite cafe were unhygienic and unkept.

Great little cafe attached to the shopping center. Haddock was good as was the soup of the day, small but tidy and well kept, good for a little bite for lunch and such.

Don't like giving bad reviews, but this place was honestly awful. The queue was huge, then a coach party joined to make it even longer. People were waiting for ages. The review before mine is correct when the lady said she had waited for a while with two kids and was then barked at to find a table first - I was sitting at a table across from the counter and heard what had happened and saw her leaving. She saved herself a small fortune, so maybe not a bad thing. There should be someone at the door telling people to find a table before joining the queue, otherwise folk don't know. My mum and I had - 1 x soup, 1 x baked potato with beans, 1 x cake and 1 x pot of tea which cost £23. Absolutely ridiculous and it wasn't great. My elderly mum insisted on paying and I felt embarrassed at the price. They didn't give us cups for tea, just the teapot so I had to try and chase a member of staff for cups. It became a total menagerie with people ordering food then wandering around with their trays trying and failing to find an empty table. They should have a limit on the number of people they allow in when it's busy. They let dogs in, and when we were in there were quite a few there. A kid sat close behind us holding a small dog that barked and barked level with my ear. I'm scared of dogs and just wanted to get out. Totally understand service dogs being allowed in, but not pets. Don't really want to be eating and getting eyeballed from a dog in the queue licking its lips at everything I ate.
