This hotel is beautifully situated and the grounds are lovely. Reception and offices are in the old mansion house. Behind that is a long rectangular block, end-on, housing the restaurants, bars and swimming pool. Behind that block is the long accommodation block, also end-on. Moving between each block involves climbing several steps and negotiating several sets of fire doors, no mean feat when you have to carry your own suitcases as we had to do. One young lad did help us, but none of the kilted or tartan clothed staff milling around the front door bothered to help move our two cases and several bags up the main steps into Reception (we are both in our mid-seventies, fortunately fit). Presumably they are just there to look ?Scottish?, or maybe they had more important things to do! Construction of the accommodation block has obviously been done on the cheap. There is only one smallish lift at the junction of the two blocks to serve four floors. A lift at the far end, close to the car parks, where guests could drop off their luggage for direct delivery to their room would be a worthwhile addition. As it is, the difficulty of getting luggage to and from rooms is the main reason for my downgrade. While there is good air conditioning in the rooms, there is none in the corridors which were uncomfortably warm. The food is good, if pricey. Afternoon tea was a bit disappointing in that we were seated at an extremely low table, about 18 inches high, with two sofas to match. While our server was very nice, having your knees between the table and yourself is not conducive to an enjoyable experience. Breakfast in the main restaurant is a buffet but a server is needed for tea, coffee and toast. We were seated at the same table each morning, and it appeared to be a server-free zone. On our first day none stopped by, although a number milled about, tending elsewhere. Eventually, we collared the assistant manager. On the second day, we repeated the experiment. Again, we watched later arrivals be served until, you guessed it, we had to waylay the AM again! So clearly the staff are not very far up the learning curve. All the hotel staff appeared to be local, and it may be that it is missing the smart and industrious East European hotel and restaurant workers who are not so much in evidence any more.

We had an amazing family room in the new wing of the hotel, great sized room for a family of four, with a lovely balcony and view of the loch. The hotel is looking in great shape, the staff were friendly and efficient and the food was great throughout our stay. We didn?t want to come home!

We had the most amazing stay at Cameron House with our family. From the minute you arrive in your car and are welcomed by friendly attentive staff who whisk away your luggage and park your car for you. The choice of restaurants and bars and the whole ambiance takes your breath away. It is always a magical experience and definitely our favourite hotel to stay in Scotland. Cameron House you were amazing and we will definitely be back. Very special memories made with our children.

Went on the champagne cruise in the afternoon of our arrival. Hannah was the absolute perfect hostess and kept us well entertained with tales and information of the local area. The champagne was top notch, Louis Roderer, beautiful and we even managed a couple of small top ups! Sipho?s helmsmanship was brilliant and the whole experience was just superb from start to finish. Hannah and Sipho were very entertaining, thanks for going the extra mile to make our anniversary trip perfect!

Cameron House was the highlight of our week travelling Scotland. It truly was 5-star from start to finish! Edna, Jill and Emma at the front desk were consummate professionals who made us feel at complete ease every step of our stay. The gents greeting us at the door made every effort to make us feel like 5-star guests. I cannot overstate how amazing the staff and Cameron House itself are.

I left my comments earlier. Very nice facility. I hope to come back sometime and the kinks are worked out. I do understand the difficulties post Covid. Having staid at multiple places in Scotland over 30 years this was not my best experience.

We enjoyed this hotel thoroughly. The general hotel staff are attentive and engaging. There are things to do and helpful staff with ideas beyond that. We would stay again. The only downside was an average meal that took forever to order at a restaurant they call the Marina. Other meals weee excellent.

Luggage delivery in the room at arrival took over 1hour. No hairdryer in the room, no soap in the shower. Everything fixed after long discussion at the reception. Corridor never cleaned during our 2 night stay.

We had an impromptu one night stay at Cameron House with our 4 year old son and 3 month old puppy?nuts I know! I didn?t know what to expect staying at a hotel with a dog, but we were bowled over at how accommodating the staff were and how welcome our family was made to feel. The valet parking, the complimentary cocktail whilst waiting for our room to be made up, the goodie bag for our son (and dog!), all added to the warm welcome and made our little chaotic family feel like nothing was too much trouble. The overall vibe at Cameron House seems relaxed and not at all stuffy, but also looks like a wonderful place to get dressed up and have a romantic night away (without kids and dogs!) The hotel itself is very impressive and opulent. We stayed in the new bedroom wing and had a perfect little outdoor terrace with a view of the Loch. The bed was super comfy and even our son?s pullout was so. A great hotel for families?our son loved the pool area and the breakfast buffet especially. We would definitely stay again!

We went to Cameron House to get engaged and our stay was simply amazing. We had a beautiful room with a great view of the loch, and even got to see the sea plane taking off. All the staff were so helpful and very knowledgeable. We used the bar, Grill restaurant, Boat house bar and the Cameron spa?..all were exceptional. Marco, (Cameron Grill Manager) arranged for a complimentary bottle of champagne after we told him we had just got engaged that day. We will definitely be back to create some more special memories.

Our family had a lovely time at this hotel. Quaint well furnished room. We enjoyed the on sight pool great to pass some time with the kids. I spent some time at the off site spa (shuttle bus takes 5 minutes to get to the spa). The rooftop pool was spectacular with the view. Food was great with a good variety of options. Our first time in this part of Scotland what a treat.
