The staff serving in here are always lovely and previously loved going here but the owners should be ashamed of themselves! As a carer I had no choice but to be out and about this morning and to see business?s like this having their staff in when the Government and Police are warning threat to life. The owner should be ashamed. What a disgrace. I hope the dedicated staff I passed today make it home safe and if the owner was in today (which I doubt it) maybe you should stay and work alone if you?re that concerned about one day of business!! Shame good service is ruined by greed

Their steak pie is 10/10, every element has clearly been refined and perfected. the pastry is unlike anything I've had before, has an a amazing crisp to it. The pie was generously filled with perfectly cooked prime steak along with the gravy which is absolutely lovely, it tastes like and has the consistency of real gravy instead of something that's been made from a packet. I'm friends with a butcher from another area so going to need to sneak in here on the sly and hope they don't find out that I'm cheating on them ?

Best butchers in Airdrie! Thomas McGlynn goes above and beyond to make his customers happy and also the counter staff are always very pleasant. We bought fillet steak for Christmas dinner and got to say it?s the best ever, melted in your mouth! Sausage, black pudding steak pies beef ham mince, I could go on and on with the products that we enjoy eating.would highly recommend Hugh Blacks to all my family and friends! Well done to all the staff that have worked hard to make their customers happy during the festive time. ???

Great to be able to get a good choice of gluten free products. Chicken choices shown but do have square sausage, haggis and black pudding if you ask.

Great quality produce. A slightly more expensive butcher compared to others I've been to. The fact there is queue out the door most times I visit is testiment to how good they are.
