We really like the good here and are always pleased with the vegetarian/vegan options. Everyone who works here is really lovely too. We usually takeaway but have also eaten in and both have been great!

More home cooked and interesting flavors than many other Indian places we've tried. We particularly liked the Paneer Achari and Peshwari Naan. The kitchen was a little overwhelmed by all the takeout orders that were coming in but we got our food quickly enough. It was a shame that relatively few were dining in as more people in the restaurant would have added to the atmosphere.

I had dinner here tonight. I ordered a Rogan Josh which is something I had never tried. It was delicious! The Naan bread was scrumptious! The service was friendly and quick. A great find in Aboyne!

Opening time 4 o'clock online 4.30 on door and 4 on carry out menu. When called on phone was told opened at 5.
The meal was very disappointing and not what we expected when ordered. Have had this meal many times before and it was delicious. It wasn't even hot and had no flavour and chicken was tough. The rice was not fresh , it was dry and lacked coconut as ordered. The poppadoms were stale.
Not an enjoyable meal and won't go back again.

First experience of an Indian in years. Big choice of menu and attentive staff. Drinks were promptly brought out. Good atmosphere. Very relaxed music and lovely decor. Food was fresh and tasty.

A lot of flies. From the toilet (door open), past the kitchen (door open) to the dining room, flies.
Naan was very thin. It tasted good but it was very thin. Curry was mediocre. I had madras, it wasn?t spicy at all. Black pepper is spicier. I also got a rock or bone or something in my last bite that kind of put me off too.
Service was good. Everyone was polite. The food just didn?t seem that fresh, it wasn?t bad, but it wasn?t great.
Poppadum tray says £1.50 on menu but the bill stated £4.50. The sauces looked old and watered down.
£60 for two curries, one naan, one rice, I had two beers, she had a Pepsi, and poppadum tray. They gave us complimentary onion bhajis too. That was cool.
It wasn?t the worst thing in the world, I just expected better freshness with the food and the premises.

My friend and I dined during our stay in Aboyne not knowing about the Sunday buffet. The chef prepared 2 special gluten free starters for us and we enjoyed the items on the buffet. Everything was amazingly delicious! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area looking for a delicious meal with amazing hospitality!
