Watching a documentary of your beautiful home and what it takes to upkeep it! Just lovely! And I think Margaret is a distant relative of mine since my family name is also Stephen from Aberdeenshire! Well done!

Went to the Royal Deeside Motor Show at the castle. A very enjoyable day, well organised, the best bit was the off road 4x4. We had a great time, All the marshalls and show staff were great.

We were not staying at the Castle, but nearby for a week's holiday in this beautiful part of the country. Two of us (women in our fifties) took a stroll on a lovely summer evening to look at the castle. Unfortunately we met the owner who greeted us thus \\\"What part of 'private' do you not understand?\\\" Apart from the rudeness, his tone was patronising and arrogant. We kept calm, explained that we had wanted to look at the castle and were doing no harm and moved on. How sad it is that by putting up signs declaring private ownership of land (in Scotland, one can walk anywhere so long as one does no harm), this person spoilt our evening walk and revealed himself as unpleasant, bitter and rude.
