First visit for dinner. Been eager to come for a while and was not disappointed. Lovely warm welcome from staff, delightful ambiance with abundance of open fires, cosy bar and dining room. Great menu too. Would definitely recommend and will return. A hidden gem.

I stayed here on a recent trip in October to the Speyside area. It was a perfect place to stay, with nice areas to sit and enjoy a glass of whiskey and a cheeseboard, get a good nights sleep, enjoy the nearby distilleries and Cooperage, as well as the Walkers shortbread store. The area is beautiful and I would highly recommend a visit.

Our second visit to beautiful Craigellachie Lodge. The room was perfect, especially the gorgeous bathroom. It's the little touches that make a place extra special. The luxury, complimentary toiletries; the bathrobe and slippers, and the little hot water bottle in the drawer for chilly nights. The food is incredible; I highly recommend the Jammie Salami pizza, followed up with a whisky in the impressive, cosy bar.Staff were attentive and helpful - thank you for looking after us! Looking forward to our next visit already!

Literally the best place to stay in Scotland! Everything is absolutely gorgeous, from the breakfast to the bedroom view.

Could not be happier with my choice to stay at the Craigellachie Lodge. Owner was onsite and I spent some time chatting with him and the staff at their bar tasting different scotches. Very friendly people. Perfect spot for setting out to tour distilleries in the area. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Great breakfast in the morning! Highly recommend for anyone coming to the area.

Excellent two nightMyself and my wife have just spent two days at Craigellachie Lodge. Our stay there was excellent. Scott and Jodi, the owners, were genuine hosts who did their very best to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. The whiskys in the bar are excellent and varied. Scott knows his stuff and was able to recommend a few new ones for me to try, to match my tastes. We stayed in the Apple Room which was spotless and very comfortable. The bed was really superb and the robes and slippers a nice touch. The Laura Thomas toiletries were high end and added to the luxurious feeling of the whole Lodge. I?m going to order some for my own house, for personal use and forguests. We ate at the Lodge the first evening. The tapas style sharing dishes followed by a pizza to share was deliciously fresh and well prepared. The breakfast too was excellent the following morning. Lewis, the in house chef, clearly likes fresh local ingredients, which he prepares very well. We had intended to try somewhere else in Craigellachie the following evening but were so impressed we stayed put. Another excellent meal and a few different drams followed.A special mention to Sam, who made sure we had everything we needed. What struck me about the owners and members of staff we met was their genuine desire to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend Craigellachie Lodge to everyone, particularly someone who enjoys Whisky and excellent fresh local produce prepared to a high standard. We are already planning our next visit, next year, with friends next time.

Small hotel that provides excellence size of room, high ceiling, large bathroom (we booked family room), adequate furnitures in the room. They have a small kitchen, which makes pretty good dinner and breakfast. I am a frequently traveler, and not staying small hotel or Airbnb room, I booked this room based on the pictures showed on the web, and price. I didn?t expect the facility was really nice, like a good hotel (not a motel!) room. Highly recommend.Nearby activities: Dam, fish ladderWalkability: About two small blocks to the restaurants, grocery store, and 15 mins to the dam.Food & drinks: Chef made good dinner and breakfast. Breakfast is not buffet style, it is freshly made. Large selection of whisky, and price is reasonable.Noteworthy details: High ceiling, good size room and bathroom (we stayed in family room). New style locker, iPhone charge pad, usb plug, power plug converter, all in the room. Reasonable price, with decent chef that makes good dinner (not big selections but tasty) and breakfast. Excellent value.

One of the best lodging experiences I?ve ever had. All staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast offered is great and packed lunches are a nice add on. Location is ideal for whiskey tasting in the area. I would highly recommend this was a magical experience. Thank you for everything.

Went here for dinner this evening with my husband and little boy. We ordered some small plates and one of the Pizzas to share and were pretty full after finishing these. We had the dessert special which was lemon and raspberry tart with mascarpone, this was delicious and just the right amount of lemon. The food is presented beautifully. The service from all the staff was fantastic. If we weren't moving we would be back more often. We would definitely pop in for food if were back in this area.

The lodge is an older home turned into a bed and breakfast by Scott and Jodi. The team at Craigellachie Lodge were by far the most hospitable people at any place I have ever stayed. Upon arrival we were greeted and given a little tour of the property by Scott. The rooms were amazing! We had two double twin rooms that were extremely spacious. Everything in the room was well thought out. The bed including the bedding was so comfortable. The water pressure in the bathroom was amazing. They had radiators in both the room and bathroom that kept the room warm. They had breakfast included and it was served every morning between 0800-0930. Their breakfast was delicious! I had the Salmon every morning. It came with smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, rocket(arugula), and tattie scones. The bar at this place was great for a night cap! Scott was so knowledgeable with his amazing whiksy collection. He had more single malts than I have ever seen. The prices per pour are more than fair. I can't wait to come back to this bar.The location of this hotel was very close to everything I planned such as distilleries; Isle of Skye was about a 3.5 hour drive. There were a few pubs at walking distance and a few nearby in Aberlour. If you need more suggestions I highly recommend asking Scott.Overall I give this place a 5/5 for everything they provided. I have never met such nice people in my entire life. I probably sound like a broken record but the hospitality was second to none. I will definitely be returning here and I highly recommend this B&B for anyone visiting Speyside.
