Sat down as a table of 4. Didn't get as far as ordering simply because the place was full of flies (and I don't mean 1 or 2). The wall behind me had hundreds on it.
Whilst the owner did acknowledge and apologise, we decided it wasn?t for us and politely left.
We were visiting as a one off, so no idea if this was the norm - perhaps the locals could comment?

Our rather large golf party of 25 visited Grace of India and every single person was delighted with their food the service and the atmosphere. A huge vote of thanks to the Ali family and the staff.

We where told about this India takeaway from our grandson .
The food was fantastic the best we have had I years we have tryed hundreds of I dia takeway we give this one 100 .
Also the price was good it just a pity it does not do home delivery to musslebourgh which we understand as it is 20 mindrive to aberlady we will next ti.e phone the order and then go and collect it

The way you?re treated by the staff is appalling. Asked for a table for two and get pointed towards a table and grunted at. After waiting 10 minutes for someone to take our order, I asked to be served. The waiter told me one minute. Another ten minutes go passed and I ask again. Still no service. Multiple people coming to order takeaways or call in to order takeaways but not one of the staff can take my order. Other tables complain as well and there?s only three tables seated and four members of staff!! In the end we just walked out. Joke.

Good portion size but food was bland. No atmosphere at all and furnishings dated, sat looking into store cupboard ???? close the door !

No dogs allowed!In Scotland, which is otherwise very dog-friendly, this was the first restaurant where dogs were not allowed into the restaurant.In a spirit of business, we were recommended to use the take away option. But if you don't like us with a dog, you won't earn anything from us.There are plenty of good places where dog owners are welcome.
