We used the restaurant
This lovely local restaurant was such a pleasant surprise! The burgers were juicy and full of flavor, the toasties perfectly crisp and satisfying, and the soup absolutely delicious ? hearty, homemade, and full of warmth.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing excellent service without being overbearing. It?s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home.
A great spot for a casual meal with quality comfort food and a warm welcome. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Staff were wonderful, although the room was a bit run down - parts were dusty and worn, the shower wasn't great either.
No major problems and the location is extremely convenient if you're visiting Aberfoyle. If you're looking for somewhere to sleep I'd recommend it, but I wouldn't expect luxury. I would stay here again if I come back to Aberfoyle.

We stopped in today for lunch. The absolute best fish and chips I have ever had. Rhyse was behind the bar and a gem to speak to. Service and food was top notch!

Popped in for some lunch yesterday and the service was amazing. The bartender/server made us feel very welcome and went over and above to make the experience the best he could for us. Would highly recommend this spot!

Gorgeous pub with the most incredible original structures of its time as a pharmacy. Filled with wonderful friendly folk, especially Steph, who went above and beyond to help us find a place to stay when we arrived to camp and realised our tent was ruined. Would highly recommend!

Lovely village, easy to walk around without having to watch for traffic. Residents are so friendly it really is a heartwarming place.
Definitely recommend a visit.

Spent 3 days in Aberfoyle cycling. Wandered in on day one for a pint and was immediately made to feel welcome, like a local. Over the next 3 days we were treated exceptionally well by the 3 barstaff. Enjoyed a lovely Guinness each day, fish md chips or a chill burger. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back. Great pub, great staff.

A lovely wee pub with the best service, food and pint of Menabrea I?ve had in a while.

If you are looking for an vintage style hotel (around 200 years old if not more )and you want to see landscapes where not really anywhere you can find them ,I beg you to give it a try !! Fresh and strong air ,kind people around and a tasty fish and chips with a pint ,perhaps you feel that you hit the heaven door s ! Amazing ! .?
