Brilliant place! We had a really warm welcome from the staff and they chatted to our boys too which was lovely. There wasplenty of space to sit. The food was great and a good price. It was a really lovely atmosphere and we very much enjoyed our visit!

Fantastic service, friendly atmosphere, and Great Food! Hopefully I can make it back before I make my way back home. The steak pie and Fish/chips were awesome as well as the Wasted Degrees Pilsner.

3 of us went in today for a bar lunch , food was amazing , best macaroni ever, my brother in law had the fountain burger, he enjoyed it , my sister just had a toastie but said it was lovely , we will definitely be back here , staff were very attentive, couldn't fault it can't really comment on atmosphere as was just lunch , but was so so good , well done staff

We stopped here for lunch, the service was fine but the food was pretty poor. The worst chicken burger I?ve had in a long time. It was cheap, I guess you get what you pay for.

Ordered a toastie and baguette (one with chips) and 2 drinks. Toastie was hard and cheese was awful so couldn't eat it. No salad only a spoonful of hard coleslaw. Was overcharged £2 and I was told it was my fault as I hadn't ordered properly. Had to wait ages to get served and expensive for what we had so we won't be back.

Had a lovely quick dinner with my wee girl and dog early evening tonight. Chris was super friendly and came to say bye before he finished his shift. The dog is always welcomed and made a fuss of and my wee girl always draws staff a picture, turns out they keep them all! Kids eat for £2 when adults eat. Friendly as always, great community atmosphere and welcoming to visitors. Back soon.

Having just completed 'the birks' we fell into this place for a rest, drink and a bite to eat. And we we do glad we did. A gem of a place with super friendly staff and good food. Well worth dropping in when you are in the area.

Very good! The service was really great and the food was better. The Mac and cheese was the star of the show and it was delicious. Dog friendly too!
