Lovely meal, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was really tasty and nice selection of wines to go with. Reccomend the tiramisu. It was lovely.

A dinner that was supposed to be Italian was very disappointing. The pasta carbonara dish was a ?mush? of overcooked pasta with a cloying flour-thickened sauce like nothing I?ve ever had. The starter was made with a few shrimp swimming in an oily sauce

It may be a good idea to book as its a fairly small place, we arrived un anounced and asked for a table of 6 the ladies were very accommodating and moved a couple of tables to make space for us. Food was hot and pizza was Fantastic. Hard to fault realy

I booked a table for 6pm, when we got there at around 6:10 the table wasn't ready and we had to wait for them to prepare a table. After we sat down and ordered it took more than 50 minutes for our food to come out. The spaghetti bolognese was very salty and the lasagna had no structure and was a mush of meat, chees and pasta which was sickening. The waiter was absent most of the time and we were not provided with drinks menu until we asked, the cutlery also came out late. I was there to celebrate an occasion and I had heard that this restaurant provided a nice atmosphere and good food but I was greatly disappointed. I am willing to pay more for good food and good service but neither was provided, the food was not worth the price which was quite high.

Food is wonderful.
Service not so much!
We were asked to keep cutlery from our starters to use for our main meal. No ice in our drinks (gin and mixer) had to ask for ice twice, strangely there was ice in the diet coke that was also ordered.
After our main courses we were asked if we wanted deserts, we were making up our minds when we were told "well we could actually do with this table".
Decided on deserts and were charged an additional £6.99 for 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream to go with the desert, making the cost of this dish £17. When challenge the answer was "well how much would you like to pay for the ice cream?"
Very poor, patronising and unfriendly service.
Even though the food is beautiful we will never be back.

This is not Italian food. I have lived in Italy for many years and find it quite offensive that the classic dishes we ordered had nothing to do with the real thing. The pizza didn't have real mozzarella on it. The bufala caprese came with standard mozzarella instead of bufala mozzarella. Carbonara was made with green cheese! We asked for focaccia and were served a piece of white bread!This explains why it had plenty of spaces on a Sat evening when all restaurants nearby were fully booked.Disappointed.
