Stopped here for a snack whilst passing through. Poor selection of savoury items and monosyllabic responses for the server over alternatives. Got the impression that I was an annoyance because I didn't want some fancy artisan bread.

We visited twice in 3 days during our recent stay in Aberfeldy. The pies were hit or miss, but the hits were very good. Excellent coffee! Some of the hand pies were underbaked which was a huge bummer. Make sure you visually pick out pie with a crispy brown color and you should be good. The steak pies were absolutely the best. Rich and tender stewed meat inside that's loaded with flavor. The crust was delicious and crunchy outside, soft on the inside, and still had flakey layers. We had sausage rolls twice because the first time they were incredible. Unfortunately the second time around they were underbaked and the filling was not cooked through. We did really enjoy the morning buns. Large, puffy, soft, and chewy and filled with either eggs, sausage, bacon, or a combo. Excellent breakfast right there! The nice women behind the counter were very friendly and quick to help. The bright yellow exterior can't be missed on your way through town. It's tiny inside and best suited for take away. My kids loved the sprinkle donuts.

What a great place it was our first visit with our 2 new labrador puppies and we couldn't have been made more welcome. A bowl of fresh water treats and cuddles for the pups.
