Branch is improving,went there yesterday and it?s busy with the sales and being the only store for the whole of Aberdeen,staff at the fitting room and check out points

I had an incredibly upsetting and discriminatory experience at the Zara store in Union Square, Aberdeen, on March 30th, around 4 PM. This incident involved blatant mistreatment, bullying, and an invasion of privacy by the store staff in the women?s fitting room.
The situation began when I was told my partner could not enter the fitting room with me simply because he is a man. There were no signs or policies posted near the fitting rooms, and I checked the store?s policy, which does not prohibit men from entering. There was also no unisex fitting room available. The staff was more concerned with chatting amongst themselves than helping us resolve the situation. Meanwhile, other men were also not allowed to enter the women?s fitting room with their partners.
As I tried on clothes and wanted to show them to my partner, the entire store started staring at me. It was incredibly uncomfortable, and I felt that my privacy was being violated. Other women in the fitting room appeared to be in the same situation. When my partner came in to help, the staff started gossiping about us and eyeing us suspiciously, almost as if we were trying to steal something. Things escalated further when the staff screamed at my partner for putting jeans in the wrong place, a task they should have been responsible for.
I had intended to purchase multiple items, including trainers, tops, jeans, and dresses as a gift to myself for my birthday the following day. Zara had been my go-to store for years, and I even had a family tradition of shopping there before my birthday, but after this experience, I will no longer be a customer.
I requested to speak with the store manager, identified as ID #81636, who escalated the situation. She falsely accused my partner of causing trouble, citing a supposed complaint from an elderly customer. However, we had only tried to enter the fitting room once, and my partner was stopped before we even entered. Instead of resolving the issue, the manager was rude, dismissive, and aggressive, and I was left feeling discriminated against, harassed, and humiliated.
After researching, I found numerous similar complaints online, which suggests that this is a pattern of behavior from the store?s staff. I reported the incident to store security, Union Square management, and the police. The events can be verified through CCTV footage, and I?m in the process of filing complaints with Zara head office, Union Square and a consumer rights association.
If you?ve had similar experiences at this Zara location, I urge you to contact me. I?m looking to gather other victims to file a group complaint or even a lawsuit against Zara.
This experience has left me deeply disappointed in a brand I once loved. I hope Zara takes action to address this mistreatment, but for now, I cannot recommend this store to anyone, especially women - because simply this isn?t safe.

I like Zara clothes, unfortunately experience yesterday was awful.
The changing rooms were absolutely filthy. I had my clothes on the floor and picked them up covered in dust, hair and general crap, that?s when I noticed the tumbleweeds of filth in the corners.
The girl at the till who served me was so unbelievably rude that I left quite shocked.
She was in the middle of a conversation with a huge queue.
I obviously disturbed her mid conversation (forgot she was at work clearly) and she basically threw the bag at me.
No smile, no hello, just utter contempt as I disturbed her.
Really unimpressed.

I like Zara, the only thing I don't like is the layout of clothes it is not very well done, compared to the Edinburgh store which is lovely laid out clothes are shown beautifully there.
