Went on a Sunday afternoon and sadly they had ran out of most things. No salmon. No gyozas.? They forgot to bring our drinks. And I was super disappointed to hear that they don't do student discount on the weekend.

There always seems to be an issue with this place. They need to amend their opening times. It said they were open and I went inside to say they are opening an hour later because the air con is leaking. I looked at other reviews and they do this a lot where they open later than what?s listed online.

They were out of just about everything. No salmon, no tuna, no naps, no sashimi. For a sushi place, it was sad. The little they did have was edible at best.

Horrible restaurant. Staff are friendly but thats about where my compliments for this thieving little establishment end.
I paid six pounds for noodles, expecting some sort of decently sized dish or bowl. Instead I got what was not much larger than the Soy sauce dish, filled no higher than the brim with half decent noodles.
Everything else is majorly overpriced too.
If you eat here prepare to be robbed.

Not sure if these are a franchise or not but the portions in here are terrible! The spicy pepper squid was half what it used to be and the popcorn shrimp was a joke as seen in the pic. Prices have gone up and portions have gone down. Even the ramen had half the noodles in it used to. Still all taste nice but massively lacking.

The food didn?t taste fresh, raw salmon has juice dripping as we took it from the belt, the chef saw us having doubt she said with a foreign accent - it?s fish so there would be juice. Some of the rice from the sushi tasted fresh but some tasted harder might had been stored in the fridge too long. Service was the biggest let down, they?re all with an attitude, really wasn?t a pleasant experience. Generally, my Yo Sushi experience was great but this one run by mainly foreign workers/students. Didn?t live up to my expectations. The toilet was filthy.

Really nice restaurant and staff, however I felt the food was quite expensive and small portioned in relation to similar restaurants.

The service is super responsive, everyone asks and comments. The food is disgusting, the chicken is runny, there is a lot of sauce that doesn?t taste like meat. There is no hot sushi. The soy sauce seemed to have stagnated. The sofas are sticky. The food is very spicy, the menu describes it as a mini ostrata, but you can?t feel the taste of the food, meat, vegetables, just the ostrate. There are no comments about the rice, the rice is good and sticky when cooked.

Trust me ? just don't go there! I could write a book about our dinner. If you're a vegetarian or vegan, save yourself the disappointment ? the chefs complained that they had to make vegetarian/vegan dishes (there was a lot on the menu) and they sold us a "vegan hoisin duck" when in fact it was real duck in the end. The waiter also tipped himself already in the end on the bill and asked if he could put on more, when the service and food was absolutely horrible.

Came to Aberdeen with my daughter today, Yo sushi is her favourite so treated her to lunch. Her food was perfect as always but being approached by the same two staff members over and over asking if everything is OK and asking us if we want to order more food really ruined the experience for us, Yo sushi is an attractive dining experience because it's chilled and laid back, this is the first time I've experienced this and really put us off. In a short visit our table was approached on 7 different occasions.
