First time in Yo! Absolutely loved it. The food was absolutely delicious, and the shop was spotlessly clean. We ordered some hot food too that was cooked in front of you as you ordered so it was fresh and very tasty. The squid was cooked perfectly, as was the Korean chicken, very tender and full of flavours. We will definitely be back in the next time we visit Aberdeen.

Nice place, good food. Now you order using the app which took us awhile to download and use, so slightly time consuming. Once we got the app it was handy, just abit modern. Now we know we can order kids bento boxes using app which is good.Kid-friendliness: So we discovered using the app they have kids bento boxes which are fab.

Was always a favorite but it's going downhill,sometimes short of ingredients for popular dishes,tonight arrived 2030 they close at 10pm according to website,they were not busy but said no more walk ins but bookings only accepted till 1300 on a Friday. Went across to wagamanas friendly welcoming and wanting the business, yo sushi dont care,more intetested in packing up well in advance. Very poor, surprised they are still in operation

Went in for the first time in a while with kids. Service excellent, atmosphere was inviting as it was fairly busy and kids loved theatre of all the food on the belt. Got kids eat free bento boxes for wee ones which were generous and they really enjoyed. Good fun for all.

Visited today , served by Arthur and Mel. They were so helpful, Arthir was great with our 2 children and very patient They knew the menu inside out and very great at explaining to us how to order by app on our phones, food was lovely, restaurant & toilets very clean. Will defo come back again. Asked to speak to the manager to pass on these comments reference our service and visit but manager wasnt in today. 5 star and well done Arthir & Mel.

Food is ok. menu look alot bigger than actual portions. The chicken curry katsu was a bit blend. was expecting betterDietary restrictions: be aware of shellfish allergies. High risk for cross contamination. However the staff is very aware.

They've brought back the old system of grabbing dishes off the conveyor!!!!! Fantastic. There are also dishes which you have to order as before but now you order them on the app rather than asking staff. Kitchen wasn't understaffed finally, staff friendly as ever, it's the perfect neurodivergent dining experience imo. They've also expanded the tuna range, though I hope they expand the menu even more because I miss old dishes like the orange chicken.Vegetarian options: I had the cucumber maki and they were better than imagined! No vegan mayo in there which was a plus for this mayo hater. My gf always gets the seaweed kaiso salad as it's so delicious. They have clearly marked veggie and vegan options, on the menu, website and the bowl colour is greenDietary restrictions: Currently on the low fodmap diet (no wheat, no dairy, no avocado, no fructose) and I was able to eat the maki, sashimi and nigiri, as well as a dessert option. I only ended up having maki because they're my favourite. They were happy to bring the allergen menu when asked as we were seated and left it with me the whole time so I could check each dish as I liked.

Went for lunch recently (June 2023). The conveyor was empty for most of our meal, the hot items we did order took ten to fifteen minutes each time, ordering via a qr code is a massive pain, the service was bad and they had the cheek to add a service charge at the end.Not to mention the price is now just silly. I won't be returning any time soon.

Not been since before Covid and it looks like it?s not been cleaned since we were last there. It also cost way more than I remember. The sushi was ok but the hot food wasn?t great. Won?t be going back.

The menu has been cut down a lot and not quite so keen on the newer dishes. We had a poke bowl and ramen bowl, both were quite bland and tasteless. Popcorn shrimp and goyoza were both overcooked and tough. I used to love yo sushi but unfortunately was quite disappointed on my last couple of visits. Probably won?t go back again. On a positive note, Service from staff was good and restaurant was clean and tidy.
