Arrived at the front desk, greeted and advised to head to the warehouse to talk to them for what I need. Since they don't have uniforms I asked someone for help, who then pointed out a member of staff as he was a customer. Ask the staff member for what I need then I can only guess he wanted to make me look a fool, and rattled off a load of I assume we're imperial sizes and looked at me blankly, I asked if we could recommend anything and he just shrugged. In the end I bought from an online retailer as they obviously didn't want my business. Very disappointed, try to shop local and made to look a foolas I was obviously not in trade.Also, if customer are going into the warehouse it should be well lit and sign posted.

This is from a while back now but I didn't review at the time.Customer services, absolutely shocking.I made several large purchases of luxury vinyl flooring in order to floor every room in our 3 bed house.With the last purchase made, the staff in the warehouse were lovely and loaded all of the packs into our car for us while we paid.On returning home 2 of these packs were damaged, and the corners completely ruined so they would have been noticeable if laid.I returned to the store regarding this and the woman there was so unhelpful - i forgot to take my invoice with me, and she said she couldn't do anything for me.Another member of staff (guy) said they keep copies on the system (she was aware of this) so she reluctantly had a look before claiming she couldn't find it and said that it wasn't on the system. The guy then intervened, and found the invoice there no bother himselfDespite this, the woman claimed there was nothing she could do as I had already taken them home, and should have checked each pack before loading (which I didn't have the opportunity to do, as the warehouse staff had started loading my car for me whilst I was inside)It had never been made clear to me at any point during my purchases that I would not be able to return goods that were damaged and needed to check each box individually first before loading.If this is the case why allow staff load cars for customers? (Not complaining about the offered help, but it would have been nice to know so we could have checked each pack before allowing this!)This was then taken to the manager at the time who again insisted he could not help but would contact the head office and referred us to purchasing vinyl fillers that colour matched our flooring, to hide the damaged corners of the flooring once we laid it.He did say he would call with the verdict of the head office on whether they would replace the 2 damaged boxes - but we never heard from him again nor could get in contact with him!***Despite the response to my review below, nobody ever got back to me***

I have used Thornbridge for over 20 years and found the prices to be competitive and the staff very helpful. No hesitation in using them in the future.

Ok, here we go. We've used this place for a long time and we always had good service with them. We had a few projects south of Aberdeen and we used another place for a while, but we still used Thornbridge quite often. Today we've been there and we needed 2 sheets of MDF and the guys there says that he doesn't start the forklift just for this. Outrageous!I'm sure we spent at least £20 000 with them over time and sent countless customers to buy from them. They don't want our business, then they won't have it!
