Friends catch up evening meal in barFood mediocre , items missing from plate as menu description . Staff brought the missing chilli jam and sour cream in little dishes .Nothing to set this meal apart . But poor value for 17.50 .We looked at the dessert menu but were taken aback at the prices £9 for a slice of cheesecake !! Wow so did not order anything . Plain bar and surroundings . Restaurant prices in a bar . Disappointing won?t be back .

Visited for a staff meal (30 diners)Food was nice, portion sizes varied for our starters between dishes (some huge portions, others seemed on the small side)Main courses were all well presented and tasted good.Each member of the group seemed to enjoy their meal and the ones I've spoken with since have only good things to say about the meal and service.

Table of 7, in the bar, and an excellent evening with great food: the chicken gougons were definitely a favourite chosen by 3 of the party, chicken burgers were delicious and a special mention for duck dish which was succulent. Well done the kitchen team.

Increasingly disappointed at the food here. Up until recently their food was very good, but the Cullen Skink I was served 3 days ago was poor, and the bread stale and cold. Not one little bit of effort put into it. Hope to see improvements or we'll sadly stop going.
