Rooms: We stay at hotel on a regular basis and have always found rooms clean and warm with tea and coffee facilities and friendly and helpful staff with good parking.

Used this hotel for work and had a great stay in room 16, staff were polite and helpful and the food in the restaurant was amazing, food price is comparable to the quality and the portion, looking forward to staying there more regularly.

Stayed here with colleagues for OE 2023 exhibition at P&J Live. It's an ideal location being a 5 minute walk and the staff are excellent and very attentive. The food we had in the restaurant was nice and well cooked. The bar was a great place to relax after a long day. The rooms, although getting dated were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and modern. Will stay here again next time I'm in town.Walkability: A great location if you are visiting the P&J Live

Stayed here for 1st time last week. Went to see Pet Shop Boys at p&j live. Location of the hotel is absolutely superb. 5 min walk to the venue. Had an early dinner at the hotel. Very reasonably priced, and food was lovely. Staff are very efficient, and clearly very used to having a sell out hotel/restaurant when a big gig is on, and they cope brilliantly with what can be challenging for some of the larger hotel chains. Only one small thing prevented me from giving 5 stars in all areas, and that was the room. As you're in a flight path, the planes and helicopters fly very low over the hotel which is very noisy when you have the window open. Normally, in Scotland, it's never really hot enough to need the windows to be opened at night, but it was particularly stifling the day that we were there. I didn't bring ear plugs with me, which I usually always do when staying in hotels abroad, so had to shut the window, which meant the room was boiling hot and made for an uncomfortable night. Would be an idea for the front desk to sell earplugs maybe? Or I could just remember and always pack ear plugs ?

The pictures say it all. The hotel group refused to return my emails or discuss the photos. You would think they would be on it after that but nothing they don't care. If you have stayed here and given feed back the hotel is great and clean then it's a lie.

We recently held a 75th birthday celebration at the hotel and we wouldnt hesitate to use the venue again. Customer service was excellent from the outset and we felt it was a truly personalised service. Nothing was too much trouble and Arlene, George and John and the rest of the staff were outstanding. If felt like they were as invested as we were in making it a success and they seemed as excited as us to see the reaction of the birthday girl. Guests commented on how much they enjoyed the afternoon tea and DJ Lexi who frequently provides entertainment for events at the venue received much praise. We stayed overnight and had a lovely room with a separate seating area. Can't thank the team enough and I know that our guests will be recommending the venue to others as the result of such a positive experience.

Showing its age a little in places. But I was well looked after by the staff. Lovely food in the restaurant and a cosy bar to spend an evening. Walking distance to the events centre and not even 10mins from the airport. Bring a set of ear plugs, though, for those early morning flights.
