Thought I would try their breakfast roll in competition with my usual Scotmid roll. £3.25 instead of £1.85 was not a great start. Claggy bun with lukewarm cheap sausages was very disappointing. Disinterested staff. The cafe was however spotlessly clean. Definitely not going back there despite it being so close to my house. Tesco needs to have a look at what is being offered here.

Danestone cafe, friendly staff, clean cafe but food not as expected. Waffles were overcooked, & muffin too spicy. I came specifically for their very tasty halloumi muffin with mashed avocado but today it had a hot chilli kick which I wasn?t expecting. Either from chilli sauce or the garnish. My son had plain waffles with Maple Syrup. The waffles were definitely overcooked. They shouldn?t have served them. My teenage son wouldn?t allow me to return them and ask for new ones. So 4/5 for todays experience. I won?t be rushing back here for breakfast next Sunday morning.
