We needed a mortgage for a self build property. No other bank or building society would help. Skipton were fantastic, especially Angie the branch manager. We now have a beautiful home thanks to the Skipton at the Aberdeen branch.

Opened an account to save for a car. Assistant told me I would get 'instant access' to my money.When I found a car, I took time off work (before a dental appointment) to take the money out.It was only £3kApparently (the small print) says you can only take out £500.Transferred to bank, ran to bank, wasn't in bank. Missed dental appointment.Late for work. NEVER USE THIS LOT.

Excellent service, I visited my regular Building Society twice to open a simple account but couldn?t, it had to be done online. Skipton was very helpful and opened an account for me. Well done Skipton! My wife will be transferring our joint account to Skipton as well.
