Delivered furniture twice. Both times broken or badly marked. Did nothing to rectify it. Wrecked my front door delivering it. Eventually got that fixed. Ignored countless emails. Had to get Citizens advice & Consumer involved. I?d never go there again. Shocking.

After an initial issue with our sofa delivery date being moved 2 days in advance we got in touch with the scs customer executive dept and they got our delivery date moved forward by a week and gave some discount on the sofas so we are now overall happy with the service :)

Had a great salesman and bought my carpets and sofas from them but after purchasing issues started arising. Didn?t include all carpets requirements when placing order so tried to get more money from me, gave me wrong delivery date, then sent me an email saying I had more money to pay which I would have to pay before getting my sofas. Ended up waiting 6 weeks more than I should have for my carpets because sales girl gave me wrong delivery details. I ended up having to pay the outstanding amount to get my sofas and they weren?t willing to take blame for advising me incorrectly.Delivery arrived at my house without knowing it was coming but I wasn?t in and luckily my mum was in but the sofa had a hole in it and it returned but I called SCS 5 days running to find out what was happening and they would not help me just said someone would call me back. I?m still waiting to hear from them I?m we are on day 6 since it was returned to them. My Sofa cost £4500 and yet they refuse to help me sort that issue outVery unhappy and will not be back

Last Sunday went into SCS just to have a look at suites. Dealt with Stuart to begin with ....very helpful indeed. Then Derek took over to finalise the price he was also very professional but not pushy at all. Said ws going to DFS to have a look at their suites that was no problem. Went back and said I would come back on Tuesday. Did the deal with Sam who was absolutely great. Nothing was a problem to him. Even ended up buying a carpet and flooring. Would definitely go back. Ask for Sam he is so friendly...and funny we had a great day.Great shopAudrey and Maxine and Jack

Ordered a sofa, well over £1000 I will add (you'd expect pretty smooth delivery and customer service). We are expecting a Baby in 1 or 2 weeks now and already have a wee boy so we wanted a large sofa and scs said it would be beginning of March we would get it. Now we are told 11th April!! So now not only does my heavily pregnant partner have to sit on the floor or a garden chair, but once she has her planned C section she can look forward to getting home with our baby to be uncomfortable and sore sitting on the floor or whatever. Absolutely shocking, you's shouldn't sell stuff you can't deliver! Just a let down of a company, wouldn't order from Scs unless you can pick your sofa up yourself, be prepared to wait months and months for it..

Ordered 2 seater sofa they delivered a 2 seater with 2 left hand sides put together. One side flat and all creased . Delivery courier left gliders scattered all over the pavement and left them so i had to pick up !!! Now waiting on replacement which is april now !! How SCS would think this is acceptable to send a sofa like this and expecting a customer to keep !!!! When SCS asked for a review after I received it i gave 1 star as had to chase them up about getting resolved and for putting out sub standard furniture, it kept changing my star to 3 stars ,? so that us why their rating is good ?? plus gliders were damaged , 2 separate call handlers were going to post out new ones still waiting!!! What a suprise , SCS get your act together!!!! and treat your customers with respect

I would give 0 stars, I don't recommend this company at all. I bought 2 sofas and I only received one sofa and it is missing the feets. I phoned them many times to get the other sofa but they are making excuses. As well as the staff unhelpful.

Can't fault aberdeen store have bought before without any issues and same this time James was lovely made a coffee for us while we browsed I purchased from the shop floor and am delighted with my sofa no issues with delivery either

I wish I'd read the reviews before ordering a carpet! Can I give zero stars?Bought a carpet from SCS in August. After ordering the carpet I was pestered by email to give a review (before actually receiving it) so here we go....Several weeks after buying the carpet I was contacted to arrange a day for fitting. Date booked and I took a day off work (I'm self employed so don't get paid for days off). Waited in all day, no-one arrived!You can't call your local branch directly so I called head office. They gave me the fitter's number and told me to call him which I did. He said he went to collect the carpet earlier in the week from Scs but it was damaged so cancelled the job. Scs were supposed to let me know which they didn't.Another call to head office who said they'd get someone to phone me. Hours later someone phoned to say they'd get another carpet ordered.When the replacement eventually arrived I got a message asking me to call head office to arrange fitting.I called and was told 'we can't arrange fitting, please call distribution centre'.I called and was told 'we can't arrange fitting please call head office'.I called and was told 'we can't arrange fitting but will transfer you to Aberdeen distribution.'Aberdeen distribution centre said we can arrange fitting but the person who does that isn't in today, we'll get him to call you.Note that when you phone scs you go straight into a call centre holding queue which can take ages. Lost count of how long I've been on hold.Hopefully someday soon I'll get a carpet but I'm not holding my breath....What a shambles of a company.UPDATE: carpet was due to be fitted today. The email from SCS states that the fitter will call on the morning of fitting to confirm time. Unsurprisingly I've heard nothing. Another day's wages lost for another no show.I will now be demanding a refund and going somewhere else that can actually deliver a carpet.

Lovely service, greeted as we went in, left to browse but salesman kept coming back and making sure we were ok. Was really lovely and managed to help us determine what we wanted. Definitely would recommend.

Gutted I had to give even one star, after a lengthy wait my carpet has finally arrived only for the poor fitter to realise that SCS have measured my room incorrectly and the carpet is too small, nightmare getting through to anyone and now need a refund so I can buy a carpet elsewhere
