Because it was over a certain amount nowhere said that you needed I.D. I even had my husband on the telephone but they still wouldn't give me what I had ordered. I also had the confirmation that my husband had sent over email. The job worth. I have to travel about a 70 mile journey to go to Screwfix, but won't be buying anything again.

I went in thinking I'd spend at least 200£ to fix my shower (the turny thing for the temperature came undone). Not knowing what to ask for, how to explain my problem, or even what the parts were called, the staff was quick to start suggesting fixes and checking prices.\\nThe saving idea came when I was told I could try just screwing it back in... i left the store feeling like an idiot, but hoping the suggestion would work.\\nHere I am, with a functioning shower again, having spent 0£ on it. The staff was so nice about it and didnt try selling me a bunch of things that could have solved it, but would have been so much more work!

Went in to collect my order was served within a few minutes ofmy arrival.My order was searched for and taken to customers desk very quickly indeed.Would use this Screwfix Depot Again once needed

Would rate 0 stars if possible. Worker that was working with the blue tattoo (didn?t catch her name) was absolutely horrible. I was asking if they had any work hats ((just hoping because no where else had)) and she was very nasty for no reason and was sighing at me after asking a question. Was absolutely horrible. She should not be working at front of store if she?s going to be nasty to costumers. Maybe she just had a bad day but no excuse to be horrible to costumers.

Always prompt and helpful and very handy, would be lost without them. Most items usually allready in stock but always overnight without any issues.

Felt bad about being one of those customers today, but the guy on the service desk was excellent and the manager went above and beyond to get my issue sorted out.

Ordered parts required online - the website is so easy to use!! Entered card details, then waited for notification text on my mobile phone to come through (which it did, about 5 mins later). Entered shop, and was guided to selected part of the screened counter, and was dealt with immediately. First class service (& a pleasant experience too!)

This place is always excellently stocked up. Prebooked items are either in stock or very quickly available after an e-mail to you. Staff are highly knowledgeable and helpful. (Some stuff got stuck in the suez canal last month so there was a hickup with stock)...

I was one of those nightmare customers today; I had an item to return, had 2 orders to pick up, both of which I'd messed up and had to correct. The duty manager David and his staff couldn't have been more understanding and helpful, and they had everything in stock that I was after. AAND it's open til 8pm!

My single experience was not the best. Staff appeared overwhelmed by the volumes of click and collect (result of Covid). It took staff three attempts to find my single item that I had been told via text was ready for collection. It wasn't an issue for me but I'm sure a little bit of organisation and control would have made the experience a better one.
