A long time ago, I suffered a heavy brain injury. Michael has been really helpful. As a result of the severe brain injury, my short-term memory is a major problem. By the time I leave the shop, I have often forgotten. Micheal offers to write things & happy to help. He has been VERY helpful. If I have a problem (fitness related), I am welcome to go and ask. Couldn't ask for a more helpful shop assistant.

Ordering process was good, I spoke to Michael via email/phone and got a fair deal on a CTX5 rack, barbell and weights, bench, leg press attachment and jammer arms. Things started to go downhill with the delivery process. I was told the courier would contact me to arrange a delivery slot, this never happened, and when I called the courier company they had no details of the delivery and passed me on to another courier in my area who were equally useless. Powerhouse customer service assured me that the delivery was booked for the date I wanted, but the couriers lost the pallet with all my equipment on and in the end it was delivered late and on a random day - luckily I was at home.The kit I ordered is great and wasn?t too hard to assemble on my own, however several parts were scratched/damaged, I sent photos and was assured that this would be given to Customer Services to discuss some form of compensation, and this hasn?t happened. The jammer arms weren?t in stock and I was told they would be delivered at the end of September, when this date came I was told it would then be the end of October, thankfully they did eventually arrive then but it was significantly later than I was promised when I bought the equipment.Another issue was with the smith machine. From the dimensions on the website I thought the rack would fit fine in my garage and it does, however the counter weights for the smith machine are very big and my ceiling was too low to get them in, so the smith machine is relatively heavy even with no plates. It?s not a problem for me so much but my partner is very petite and it?s too heavy for her. Considering this was a home gym for us both it?s lost that utility so be careful when ordering this rack, you will need more height than mentioned on the website! I mentioned this when I sent the pictures of the damage and was told they could potentially send some smaller counterweights but again Customer Services haven?t bothered to get in touch with me.Overall the company seems to be very helpful when buying your stuff but then pretty useless once that is done. The delivery was really poor and dealing with the subsequent issues has been too. Not great when spending over £3000!
