Took my car to Pitstop last year for Maoat and needed repairs this week. The guys were super quick and friendly plus going above and beyond checking my tyre free of charge on a busy day. Great service, great people. Car drives like new.

Recently used Pitstop for the first time having an MOT and full service. The team were very friendly and helpful, no issues, done within the day and well priced. Will definitely use again and recommend to others

Booked online for an MOT, given the option of AM/PM - chose AM. Dropped off at 8.20 AM to mechanic, assures me he will get it done in the morning. Still no call when i finished work at 2 so decided just to walk up. To be (not entirely) shocked that it hadn't been looked at yet. Was advised I could come back the next day (I couldn't), alternatively it would be the next car on the ramp and they were just finishing up the one before, to which I agreed. Again, I waited an hour and a half with no call. I walked back and the car still hadn't moved - the keys were still in the car where they had left them, probably not the best idea - I could have easily taken my own car without informing anyone as there was nobody to be seen on the yard. Instead, I went into the office to ask why it still hadn't been done, only to be told that the manager who had made the previous promise was no longer there. The receptionist, who was pleasant, informed me that there are no appointments, they "get to the cars when they get to them". Whilst this may be the case, although I doubt it's the best practice they could come up with, why would they offer an AM/PM booking option? and why would do mechanics advise you when things will be done? I totally wasted my time today and was offered absolutely no solution to rectify the situation.

Bonus this garage is open on Saturday's friendly helpful staff . had my exhaust repair here , really pleased with how quickly the job was completed. There quote for the job was as discussed. & at a reasonable quote too .as one garage quote was unrealistic price. pitstop even fixed a fault with my washers . if I have any other issues I'd happily use this garage again. great service

I had my car MOT'D by Pitstop. The car failed however they explained clearly what was required and provided a clear quote for the needed repairs. These were carried out very efficiently and I was soon back on the road. Thanks

Got my car Serviced and MOTed. Carried out in a timely manner. 1 advisory which was fixed on the day. Very happy with the service. Staff friendly and communicated well. Would recommend.

Not good service. Dropped tyre here to fix puncture which we already check and another garage they said they would charge 20 pounds to fix it. No call or nothing go today to pick tyre and they told us the tyre can't fix. Here is new tyre and charge me £71 and total rip off and they didn't inform me that they it need new one. Worst service ever and greedy people.

Booked car in 9am on Sat 20.8.22. Visited. Told no way it could b done. Arr to go back at 9am on Mon 22.8.22 and told them needed car by 12.30 same day. Went back.nothing done. Never once contacted me to inform me what was happening. Sorry Pitstop u will never get my business.

Dropped my van off for MOT and service on 6/5. Stuart, the owner, advised of work needing done and that he could do this. 10 weeks and multiple phone calls later with further promises he still hadn't started the work.Extremely unreliable and untrustworthy. Avoid this garage.

Back in March I had a puncture. Most places charge between £20 and £30 to fix so went to pit stop as it was the nearest garage to me at the time. Was shocked when I was charged over £40. The worst part is, they didn?t tell me the tred was almost illegal so here I am two months later needing a whole new tyre. Now if I?d known at the time, I?d rather have just got a new tyre. A repair is only cheaper if you still have a lot of life left in tyre. They must have hoped I?d go back to them when the tyre needed replaced but if that?s how much they charge for a repair, I dread to think what a whole new tyre From them would have been. Needless to say I went else where!
