A central hotel, lovely foyer, attentive staff, though on arrival when asked which of our party were light sleepers should have been an indicator of what was to come. If you are a light sleeper request a room facing the atrium and NOT the front street especially at the weekend. Noise levels rose from 11pm to around 2am due to speeding traffic and revellers. Room decor is normal for a chain hotel. No bedside plugs. Room lighting is just acceptable.Been once think I'll choose another hotel on next visit to Aberdeen

A very shabby hotel. The bathrooms are not very hygienic, lots of black spots in the showers. The breakfast is very bad, the selection is not good. All in all, I would advise against booking this hotel.

Decent hotel. Easy experience checking in. Rooms are pretty good, with comfortable beds. The food in the bar in the evening is fine. The buffet breakfast is great, with good quality products. All in all, a wholly acceptable hotel for a business trip.

I stayed here for two nights recently, the room was spacious & very well stocked with will all the amenities & essentials. The staff were really helpful, polite. The 1 major let down though which prevents me from giving it a 5 was the TV, only certain channels worked and other channels were bugged thanks to signal trouble, which is also an issue in other rooms apparently. Apart from this, my stay was decent.

Spent one night here attending a charity fundraiser in there conference suite. Friendly enough receptionist on arrival. Found one guy partially rude a-bit stand offish when I questioned the drinks available at the bar . Big money spent here and yes its down to suppliers but if you cant provide it dont offer to stock peoples drinks or give them the heads up you cant meet it . Room was adequate for one night. Plugs not available on the bedside tables

We stayed at this hotel for three nights as part of a group trip. The hotel:The hotel is very centrally located near a main street with restaurants, shops, etc. and was still quite quiet. The hotel makes a very tidy and well-kept impression both from the outside and from the inside. The staff was overall quite friendly. However, there was a fairly high fluctuation in staff, although this hardly had any negative effects. There is a pub opposite the hotel. If your room faces the front, you may be disturbed by the background noise in the evening/night. My husband and I had no problem. Nevertheless, at night you could sometimes hear screaming cars and loud screaming.Breakfast and dinner:The breakfast was offered as a buffet that left nothing to be desired. There were 2 coffee machines available, which could prepare "normal" coffee, cappuccino, etc. There were various types of tea and fruit juices. The food was everything from sweet (including various sweet pastries, fruit salad, several types of jam) to heartier (bacon with egg, rösti wedges, beans). For bread there was toast and two other slightly richer types of bread. The dinner, however, was slightly disappointing. The process looked like this: On the first evening we were allowed to choose from the menu and for the following two evenings we had to make a tally list of which dish we wanted and how often. Basically okay, as there were two tour groups there on two evenings. In total there were probably around 100 people. Basically, we were called table by table for the starter, main course and dessert and asked to go to the tables where the breakfast buffet was offered in the morning. There we were asked by the staff what we wanted. The food we wanted was then placed on a plate and given to us.Drinks - except water - had to be fetched in the lobby. According to fellow travelers, the prices were significantly more expensive than in the other hotel. In addition, you had to wait quite a long time due to the rush and sometimes missed your own table being called to pick up your food. The good: There was free water from a water dispenser in the dining room.We were able to choose from 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts. The starters were quite tasty. We haven't heard anything negative from fellow travelers about this. Overall, the food was okay, but nothing more. The negative:The vegetarian main courses were not very varied. There was cheese ravioli with tomato sauce and 2x pasta with cheese sauce. The sauces all tasted like ready-made sauce, similar to our bagged meals. Definitely nothing fresh. The portion size was quite manageable. We were full, but nothing more. It was not possible to catch up. If I had exerted myself physically during the day, the portion would not have been enough for me. Of course, this means that little or no leftover food was thrown away.Calling up the individual tables didn't always work. Some people moved from tables to the front who were not asked by the staff. On the last evening there was clearly not enough of a dessert (chocolate cake). The two fellow travelers in front of me were brought a chocolate cake from the kitchen, but it had little to do with the chocolate cake of the other people (I was able to try it on both my husband and a fellow traveler who didn't want to finish the cake). I was then forced to choose something else. When I pointed out that I had ordered something else, the staff just shrugged their shoulders. The dessert on the three evenings wasn't really fresh either, but rather frozen. One dessert wasn't completely thawed, but was still frozen inside. Conclusion: A pretty good hotel for overnight stays with breakfast. I would save dinner and go out to eat in nearby restaurants.Rooms: The room and the bathroom were very tidy and clean. Everything you needed was there (a kettle, coffee, tea and cups in the room; shower gel, shampoo, soap and towels in the bathroom). The only thing missing was a wardrobe, so we had to put our travel bags on a shelf in the cloakroom. The double bed was large and comforta

2 single beds shoved together were OK but didn't quite join, so not the most comfortable of nights sleep. Room is very dark with no central light in the bed area.Breakfast was awesome, location is great and the receptionists were super helpful.

Attended work organised event here. Park inn usually do a good job of organising these types of things. Food wasn't much to write home about but was only soup and sandwich.Nearby activities: Very central location for a hotel in Aberdeen so great if you are planning a night out or entertainment

Currently on night 1 of a 3 night stay. And not enjoying it. Rooms are small. There are no sockets by the bed, which I find really annoying and unsettling in hotels. When I asked for an extension cord was informed not available for guests. When I was checking in someone attempted to steal from the bar. And I had to ask the guy checking me in 3 times for my bag he seemed harassed and overworked. Finally I was told to see when tours are having their breakfast to avoid as will be busy. So now I'm anxious of a busy unpleasant breakfast experience. I'd advise to stay at the holiday Inn express nearby. Much better experience. Will update if things improve.Update -day 2Good bed and fairly quiet. Breakfast was decent. Although the fruit (selection of melon) looks like it's been cut up a while ago and left to dry out. Which is a shame as would have been nice. Key card also stops working fairly easily. Happened to mine and another guest so seems something which occurs frequently.
