Great pub, £7.49 for a main, side and drink for lunch, you really can't beat it. Staff were friendly, ordering easy and good atmosphere.

The fish at the Northern has always been consistently very good to excellent. I've been nippin in for the fish chips and a wee beer for over 8yrs and I can only think of one occasion it was average. Its relaxed and friendly atmosphere welcomes all walks of life. 10/10 would recommend

Well food is delicious very good value bit mixed a staff I was charged£ 2 85p for small glass tap water dash of blackcurrant to my assiant manger rudely he does do the pricing but he could of show he cared was charged two week in a row 70p for same drink !!!!!!

Extremely Friendly staff, with a welcoming atmosphere, also very convenient for public trublic and within walking distance of the city centre,i don't purchase meals hear but it is very popular and recommended for bar food and meals,i would recommend it to all.
