Was here recently at lunchtime lovely food staff atmosphere so thought we would go again and try breakfast Totally different experience Breakfast comprised of cheap ingredients and who puts butter portions on a warm plate One of mine was actually under a fried egg!!!

Food was absolutely shocking! First lot of toasties that came out could have broke something they were that hard. Then my daughter had a rather long hair in her chicken and bacon club. The first member of staff who was approached pretty much called my daughter a liar and said there was no way it could have came from the kitchen. I then went an questioned it and one of the kitchen staff was advised to tuck his rather long hair into hair hair net properly. Two of the staff members were excellent but everything else was a let down. Wouldn't recommend and won't be back.

Was in for lunch today . Very disappointing to say the least . First of all I had a toastie which I could not eat because it was cooked solid. I passed this on to a staff member . My friend asked a waitress for another drink and we are still waiting for it .. Her son had ordered a pudding which we had to ask the staff several times for . Finally after asking about 3 times he got his pudding. Service was shocking. Very disappointing.

Visited tonight with family, sat down at table and looked at food menus. Plenty tables available and not busy at all. Went to bar to order food and told would not be taking food orders for another half hour saying the kitchen was too busy. This was 7pm. Not impressed and wonder how they would cope when they were actually busy. Initially was going to wait but decided to go elsewhere. Don?t know if this was laziness or understaffing.

I had the spice of the world and my wife Kitsu chicken which both were fantastic.
For drinks it was Tennants lager and a large Pino wine.
I had a voucher for 50% off the total bill ,which you can't use on the app but the wonderful waitress (Amanda) explained it all to me.
Only a 3 star for atmosphere because it was late afternoon and was pretty empty.
Good bar,plenty of tvs to watch sport in both bar and lounge.

Food service was terrible.food missing/not cooked properly missing toast to burnt eggs. You have the kitchen manager working and still can't get the food out properly. Gave high praises this morning to then come in and get presented this shocking.

Nice enough place decent prices,bar staff can be a bit scarce trying g to serve 2 bars but the bit that let's it down is the outside seating can take ages to clear tables but worst it needs a good clean cig ends all over the ground /tables and no ash trays at tables otherwise a good place
