Range and quality of clothing has greatly improved this past year. Prices are kept to minimum and not overpriced! Matalan offer club card holders regular 20% discounts off Prices. I do enjoy shopping in Matalan in all departments which include, homewares, bedding, footwear and menswear and children's dept. We have two stores which are well presented and the layout is well thought out. Plenty of room to move around aisles. Toilet facilities also. I would like to see a coffee/tea shop opened providing a refreshments for the shopper!.

Just been to Matalan in Portlethen, the shop is so cold unable to stay long and enjoy the sales. Picked up a few items but will probably have to return them as it was way too cold to try them on! I feel so sorry for the lovely staff who have to work under such conditions.

Poor experience trying to return 2 items, picked up wrong size in error, went back to exchange but size I needed out of stock, was told I had to take gift card refund as items were sale items, not sure if this is legal, but will check with Citizens Advice
